cursed scroll is "working" now (if you just got 1 card in your hand).

just happened to me that i had 2 wildfire on my hand and activated cursed scroll to do the last 2 points of damage to the AI.
so i named wildfire , wildfire got revealed and no damage was done :roll:

i must have revealed the other wildfire i guess.

Umm in can be only one is it intended that we can't use multiple basic land?

I mean most Highlander decks make an exception for basic land.

By the way if your looking for another deck challenge based on a real deck construction here is a few.

The 'There Can Be Only One Challenge' has made me wonder whether it's possible to implement EDH in this game :D

It would be tricky, but I think most things EDH could be done, and you could use deck tags (like the T1T2T3 in the launcher...). The major catch I could see is the AI knowing which Legend is the General, if there are multiple Legends in a deck...

Would be pretty *darn* awesome though! :lol:

BTW, Thanks for another amazing update jatill. I played almost non-stop today! I think you should start with a little more life in the Super Mulligan challenge though. I've made it to round 2 a couple of times, but I can't see anyone actually beating it as currently constructed...

found 2 bugs with autotargeting.

honden of infinite rage + fireblast don´t deal damage if they are autotargeted.i suggest removing both from "TargetAI.txt" if you are using smarttargeting.
sometimes the same thing is true for cursed scroll.might be the same issue.-> attached a savegame

offtopic:
played some papermagic today in a tournament. i wanted to play vintage but there weren´t enough players for the event :roll: .
so i grabbed my fun deck (a rebuild of the deck kai budde won the world championchip 10 years ago -> "covetous dragon/wildfire",just had to do minor modifications for the format)and played legacy with it.
6 rounds later i went top8 with a ten year old deck :lol:

I top 8ed with that deck at a PTQ but it was the urzas block version back when Urzas was the new hot block.

Would it be possible to show, in Challenge selection, asterisk next to the challenges you've already beaten? Since there are now lots of them, it's possible for you to forget, especially if you don't play in a while.

Hey, I don't mean to be an assbag, and this might have been covered in a previous iteration of this program but...

I'm paranoid and I virustotal everything that's under the filesize limit, thusly....

They all seem to have to do with code injection and packed files, but I just wanted to be sure..

Can anyone shed some light on this?

csv2dat.exe is used to update magic.exe (from manalink.csv). thats the injection thing.
if you don´t use the skymagic(or simply excel) editor to mess with the cards you can erase that file without any problems.

the t1/t2/t3.exe files delete your decks in your playdeck folder (will get detected as malicious obviously) and place the files into the holding folder(within your playdeck folder)and copy the T1 / T2 / T3 decks out of the holding folder to your playdeck folder.this way you will always play against same tier levels in a gountlet.i´ve personally never used this feature and deleted the files aswell.if you don´t use the feature -> delete the files and your antivirus will never bug you again.

the draft.exe does something simmilar. if you play a draft the opponent decks (and your own) will be saved as deck files in your playdeck folder. all the exe does is delete these draft-decks so you don´t have to delete them manually when you want to play another draft.
the exe deletes stuff so it will get detected as malicious aswell.same as above.

so if you don´t use the features you might aswell delete the files and will never get bothered by your antivirus again.

i don´t understand why jatill keeps uploading them - pretty much all you need from the patches are the magic.exe and maybe the config.txt after major changes.
there could be a link in the wiki to download these files whenever people feel they need them.

this is like the fifth time i have to write about this false alarm thing, and with every new patch i get the same messages from my antivir from the same files that i don´t even use :roll:

after uploading the single pics here i re-upload the cardartnew.rar including the latest pics.
the link in the signature should always be up to date unless i´ve missed anything.

i just copy the pics from magiccards.info and cut the pic out and rename the pic then - so the quality ain´t the best.still better than a gray box though :mrgreen:

Its really ridiculous how many anti-virus warning posts we get on here. We should sticky a topic at the top of the forums that deals with just this issue.

I just downloaded math's pics update, but it didn't have any art for cards < #802, and most of the new cards are in the below that. The pics for Brain Freeze and Charbelcher are there though.

I tried Salbei's version as well, but couldn't get it to download faster than about 2kbps, which is kind of odd since I downloaded the patch from his sig, and it went lightning fast...
