Plus, there's the usual LONG list of bugs fixed (see the included "changelog")

Unfortunately, the annoying "no fast effect during combat" bug is still here, I'll state it again for newbies:
currently, you can't use activated abilities during combat unless you've an Instant in hand.
To avoid this problem, follow these steps:
1 - The first time you load the game and play the first duel as soon as the duel begins you have to put a STOP to BOTH attack phases (so that will give you the chance to put stops "fast effects assign attackers" and "fast effects assign blockers") as it will open the attack phase menu when you come to that step.
2 - Then as soon as you put the stops in the fast effects you can remove the stop from the attack phases so it doesn't stop there if there are no creatures to attack, for players attack phase this works great for AI's phase it will not stop on "fast effects assign attackers" step though only to "fast effects assign blockers".

Needless to say, for all this our endless and deep support & "Thank you!" goes to Korath, Sonic, Foolosopher, Aswan Jaguar, Stassy and all the others Bug Hunters.

Important Card Art File Changes - YOU MUST READ THIS

As of the January 2014 patch the card art file naming convention has been changed. Due to this change if your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder and card artwork is older than the January 2014 patch release it will need to be replaced with those in the archives posted in the links further down this post - BEFORE installing this months card art update files.

CardArtManalink_ December 2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/am414 ... ec2014.zip

Unfortunately we are unable to source a full set of HQ artwork for Commander 2014 at present. Subsequently much of the new card artwork included in the archive is currently LQ and will be updated as soon as any HQ card art becomes available.

Please Note: This card art update only contains the card artwork for the December 2014 Manalink 3.0 patch.

If you are downloading Manalink 3.0 for the first time, or your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder is older than the January 2014 release, please download and install the folder and files in the following archives:

‘2012_CardArtManalink.zip’ (Main Folder / Artwork) – http://www.mediafire.com/download/pnj15 ... nalink.zip
‘2012_2013_CardArtUpdates.zip’ (Compiled 2012/13 CardArt Updates) – http://www.mediafire.com/download/p1i5a ... pdates.zip
CardArtManalink_Jan2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/dsln1 ... an2014.zip
CardArtManalink_Feb2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/vwf11 ... eb2014.zip
CardArtManalink_April2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/1ob9b ... il2014.zip
CardArtManalink_May2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/28w7m ... ay2014.zip

CardArtManalink_ Nov2014 – http://www.mediafire.com/download/usz4d ... ov2014.zip

Delete your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder and replace it with the folder in the 2012_CardArtManalink archive. Then copy the artwork from the 2012_2013_CardArtUpdates, January, February, April, May, September, November, and December archives into the newly installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder.

Updated number of image files in the CardArtManalink folder: 13893

CardArtShandalar.zip (March 2012 release) – http://www.mediafire.com/?u6h5by3b9fbf8cf

If your current CardArtShandalar folder is older than the March 2012 release, please delete it before installing the one in the link above.
The folder for the March release contains images with corrected file names, copying the new files into an old CardArtShandalar folder will not overwrite the incorrectly named files.

Number of images image files in the CardArtShandalar folder: 1259

Ignore the 'ManalinkDec2014.zip' file - this was the archive for the edited manalink files I sent to Gargaroz for the patch update. I think he included the link in the announcement post by mistake.

The link to the Card Art files has been correct all along.

Very nice work :-)

where should I direct possible bugs to? using karakas for returning legendaries seems to send my game crashing.

Well, I didn't know where else to post this so I figured that the Patches section receives a lot of love. Yes it is off-topic but nonetheless VERY important!!

I wish all here a Blessed Christmas, Happy Yule, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, and a Happy New Year in which all find unopened Alpha boosters with Black Lotus and Moxen!!!

Thanks to the devs for a GREAT program. It has and does fill many lonely nights for me in this foreign land. Thank you for that!!

Best,
Vlad

Good job about the latest patch! :D

By the way, there's something that bothers me, it's about the EDH card.

Since I have a lot of EDH decks, when I update the Manalink, the EDH card is always changed to another card (for example, in this patch, the EDH card becomes Crown of Doom. In previous patch, it became Ashiok's Adept.)

I hope this will be addressed in future so when someone has a lot of EDH decks, he or she doesn't have to re-edit the deck to change just one card when the new patch comes. Thank you :)

Hey Alex,

I used to be in the same boat - manually updating the decks became a choir.

There's a lovely tool for bulk deck editing that'll save you a lot of time. Check out the PlayDeck Analyser by CirothUngol.

If you'd like to replace Crown of Doom with the EDH rules card, simply import the desired .dck files, tick the "Replace PlayDeck Contents" checkbox and enter "Crown of Doom" (without quotes) in the "CardName in PlayDeck" field of the corresponding popup. The EDH card is called "* Elder Dragon Highlander" (without quotes) and should be entered in the "CardName to Substitute" field. Set the quantity ("Qty") to 1, then click accept. The popup will close. Clicking the "Rebuild!" button will apply the changes in a matter of seconds.

Hope that helps. Happy holidays!

Thanks for the great work as always guys. ^_^ And happy holidays too.

I have just recently downloaded the new updates. I noticed that the the Khans of Tarkir isn't using the new frames after I applied the update. I tried fixing the problem myself but I'm not successful. I am wondering if it's just me who's only having the problem. Anyway it's only a minor problem; what matters to me is that the cards work.

Thanks again for all the work you guys have done and more power. :)

We're aware of the problem - the Drawcardlib.dll needs to be updated for the expansions after "Speed vs Cunning". But unfortunately Gargaroz has an issue with his MingGW installation which needs to be resolved before the file can be recompiled.
