Manalink Update 8/11 - M11

M11 is coded and ready for testing. Please post all bug reports here.
Use MagicLimited to access all of the M11 cards (they are enabled for Sealed Deck).

Skipped:
Autum's Veil
Leyline of Anticipation
Redirect

Approximations:
Captivating Vampire (does not make creatures a vampire)
Combust (damage CAN be prevented)
Frost Titan (pay 2 ability doesn't work)
Gaea's Revenge (super shroud is an approximation)
Ice Cage (targetting death is approximation, AND activated abilities can be played)
Leyline of Punishment (damage CAN be prevented)
Leyline of Sanctity (super shroud is an approximation)
Phantom Beast (targetting death is approximation)
Rise From the Grave (does not make creature a Zombie)
Sacred Wolf (super shroud is an approximation)

If you want to thank me, do it by playing Vengeful Archon and Angelic Arbiter a lot. These two cards took me about as long as all other cards i did combined, and it would be a pity if noone would use them ;)

Hum have some issues :
- Downloaded M11 patch http://www.mediafire.com/file/53r473r20 ... 100803.zip
- Extracted to Magic folder as usual
- Launched DeckEditor, created a M11 deck
- When deck finished I save, I get a msg "new cards need to be added 30 sec for each"
- Once done I launch MagicCustom.exe and try my deck, the image and stat data are there but the name and text is still the replaced card and not the actual one

Card name and text for the card in my battleground say Black Vise but should be Palace Guard instead;

Also in the .dck file the new card get a -1, which is not quite good I think I missed one step but don't know which one...

Ok found my fix, all I had to do is click on Exclude/Include deck button, click on refresh My2k and update My2k.

My uber not optimized but M11 deck is now ok and in testing :p

First issues :
- Ajani's Mantra doesn't ask you if you want to gain life (hence the word "may") but I don't think most players will say no to 1 life so... :p
- Ajani's Pridemate doesn't seem to combo with Ajani's Mantra and doesn't get +1/+1 when the previous give you 1 life
- Casted Armored Ascension on Ajani's Pridemate, the aura went immediately into the graveyard (and the creature briefly got the bonus...and lost it).
- When using Infantry Veteran ability, he doesn't tap, an Activation card appear but no target is asked and you can dupe the Activation card ad infinitum but clicking on it.

I armored twice with the same issue and saved the game though I don't remember if save was after or before the 2nd aura...my game is just no finished it's taking a lot of time on mirror match when AI doesn't just want to use Inspired Charge to its favor, that is why I didn't upload a savegame first.

More bugs but don't know how why it propagated to Pacifism, casted it on a White Knight and it went straight into the graveyard.

Ok weird, after a 1st clash and nearly all creature to the graveyard but Cloud Crusader I was able to cast Pacifism on a AI Serra Angel. Seems to be one creature was causing the enchant bug...

Edit: Grrr AI just casted Armored Ascension on its Pacificated Serra Angel successfully, the bug seems to have been fixed by itself.

Are you using your custom version? Of so, savegames are worthless, since I can't load them. If that's the case, I need to see screenshots instead (which is obviously a lot less useful). In any case, I should be able to reproduce the other bugs.

I am using the custom version (MagicCustom.exe) or else I wouldn't be able to use the M11 cards ;)

Also I cleared all my buggy decks and left this new M11 deck in cusDeck folder, you should be happy that pop up don't bother me anymore on DeckEditor startup :mrgreen:

Edit: well, AI casted Armored Ascension again on his Armored Ascensioned Pacificated Serra Angel...ahah
I will have to do another game to verify the enchant bug.

Edit2: Ajani's Pridemate name is highlighted as ready to be casted even if you have only 1 land in play.

Edit3: Found the culprit! AI casted War Priest of Thune, I tried to cast Pacifism on him and the enchantment went directly into the graveyard. All others creatures are affected because then I casted Armored Ascension on my Cloud Crusader and the enchantment went into the graveyard. I then casted Condemn on him and finally successfully casted another Pacifism on his Infantry Veteran.

You don't need custom to use M11, you can just use MagicLimited. Pridemate is completely broken because I assigned it the wrong ID. And now that you mention it, I see the War Priest problem. Cool ability: whenever a single enchantment is in play, blow it up.

Just a question about custom mode with DeckEditor, I see that it also replace alpha spells like Ancestral Recall, what happen if I want it also in my deck, does it search for another random card as a replacement?
