Snacko, I have to ask you a favor : since I'm still working on the code and your fixes will clobber my changes, could you wait until I release the next update and the re-do the analysis and re-submit the fixes ? Thanxs.

I downloaded the V3 recently and the card arts now are all messed up. Serra Angel has (somewhat) disappeared from the database.

Apparently, it was replaced with Bone Crusher but retains the image of Serra Angel. There were many cards that were replaced with

wrong arts, or even worst, the entire entity of a card were completely replaced with another (crappyer) card, especially the really good

cards.

Morever, is it just me or is anyone aware that Magic Limited's and Contructed's database are NOT synchronized. There are some cards in

Limited that I wanna use in Constructed and vice versa.

Why can't it be all so simple? Just have everything in one database.

Please look into these....

Kingpin this game(1997 released) has a limit of 2000 card slots that is not solved, yet. That's why we have 2000 cards in constructed,2000 in Limited and another 2000 in Golden Years mod.
That's why some cards have to be replaced with others.

You can update your card art in this link.(follow Sonic's instructions).
Page 5.(constructed,limited)page 4 Golden Years.

And the fact that the mighty Serra Angel has been replaced should really tell u how higher the cards' level is now :))

Trust me if they could put every card they ever coded into the regular game they would.

At this point there is probably about 4000+ cards coded and only 2000 slots the most powerful cards overall were put into the constructed version.

If you disagree with some of the choices that is tough but for the most part they are the right ones.

Remember kids this game has over 10000 unique cards now and its tough to trim them down to 2000.

BTW: There is no card called "Bone Crusher" so yeah I think you are listing the wrong card there.

Serra Angel hasn't been considered a good card outside of limited since the 90s.

Baneslayer Angel >>>> Serra Angel

Battlegrace Angel > Serra Angel

There ya go two angel cards you could easily play in place of Serra Angel both either ridiculously more powerful or at least fairly more powerful at the same mana cost and both of those angels are in the game.

In fact! Even if Serra Angel is still very good vs. "sabouters" creatures ...

Correction: I meant Bone Shredder not bone crusher. It totally replaced Serra Angel. I'll try the other CardArt recommended and see.

Yes, I must agree Baneslayer Angel is a powerful card however Serra Angel is still irreplaceable due to its vigilance ability.

Why not get rid of the stupid Walls instead, or the 4th edition goblins and merfolks, or to summarize it all, the crappy cards we don't

really use. Think about it. They are at least 4000 cards we don't use for our decks. We would only use the best cards for our killer

decks. Am I right or am I correct. NOT 2nd or 3rd class cards for 2nd or 3rd class decks. Get rid of the bogus junks.

This project should be in an episode of Hoarders. There are a lot of meaningless pests in the database and the useless artifacts and

enchantments are just collecting dusts and are used for homes for the pests. HA HA HA.

Serra Angel, on the other hand, is the original and the queen of all angels. She's indestructible according to Wizards.

Don't get me wrong guys, this project is doing fantabulous. Props for the deveIopment team. (Applause)

I've been an experienced MTG player for 17 years and this game kicks DOTP 2011 and 2012's big multicoloured butt.

(Sigh)

Well, if that Queen bitch had to be exiled for whatever reason they had, then hey, they had to do what they had to do. Colour them bad.

True, but some low-power cards are used for challenges, which I personally dislike a lot, but other persons instead enjoy them very much. Also, there are personal tastes about cards: eg, I like very much tribe decks and occasionally I use also very weak cards, or obsolete ones that may still be very enjoyable to play.

Yes,as you mention it seems that some cards are not used in decks, but you need to know that some cards are necessary for challenges and can't go from Constructed, and If I remember correctly some cards also can't be replaced for some reason because the game engine uses them only for certain card types or smt like that.

Did any of you guys notice the cards' description are bolded

in the latest patch?

It's kinda annoying not able to read the rest of the

cards' description because of the enlargement.

They remind me of Portal cards and it makes them look

less intimidating.

And plus, no one likes right-clicking and expanding the description box all the time.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

It might depend on the font that is used by your windows version because I don't see any difference between older and june patch. Did you recently install a software that add fonts or a new printer?

The texts were fine before the patch unless windows downloaded some update that affected the language pack.

Perhaps, the Service Pack 3 had anything to do with it.

Maybe by reinstalling the fonts in the fonts system folder will help (ttf files are in the default magic folder but not all in the windows/fonts for me)

Where could I get the windows fonts? Should I just google it?

Perhaps Softonic or Demonoid?

Or should I try the Fonts file from an older Manalink patch?

I already did a System Restore which took me back 1 month before the windows update and it still didn't work.

Might as well try all of them.
