Gargaroz, since Sonic has mentioned the problem, I kidly invite you once more include GMZombie's dll in the next release, as part of the patches.
I include it here, as attached file.

As you can see from the attached image, it has just the purpose to allow Custom users to have alternative arts for the traditional deckbuilder. It is very nice since it allows to re-organize cards within different sets.
As you can see, in my game I've replaced the lame 8th edition with Zendikar and also have merged sets including Arabian Night & Antiquities block, Legends block, Ice Age block, Mirage & Tempest block (Gerrarth & Weatherlight crew's saga). It has no other effects and doesn't hamper neither constructed or limited versions.
Thanks.

Sorry, I've did a mess with the Limited version. And I'll add the deckcus.ddl too, Orion79, sorry for forgotting about that, but I'm a bit busy these days and got a lot of stressful things to do :(
And so, V4. Damn.

If you're really snowed under at the moment, and the 'mess' only involves the ManalinkL.csv and the MagicLimited.exe. Why not just advise people to use the Limited files from the V2 release until the next update; or just post the Limited files separately again?

Well, it's just more n00b friendly to release a complete patch again. And it's out.

Just a minor note: I've seen that WotC has updated some creature type. It has restored the "elder" attribute for the elder dragon legends as Nicol Bolas or Palladia-Mors and, with Innistrad, has restored the werewolf attribute for creatures that, before, were re-tagged "human wolf" as Greater Werewolf and Lesser Werewolf.
Just for records, in case that we may need it in the future: I don't see any creature to be fixed in our game right now.

The Costructed version has the Werewolf subtybe, but I'm waiting to add the Elder subtype as we may need the less used subtypes with the new expansions.
Old Limited and Golden Years CSV have yet to be fixed.

I added the 'Elder' subtype to the cards in both the Limited and Golden Years csv files I sent you.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I needed to cross reference the files against the latest Constructed release, as some of the types in the previous Constructed file were different from those in the Limited/GY files.

All three file in the latest SCV card art update, are now correct, but Greater Werewolf and Lesser Werewolf currently remain typed as 'human wolf'.

I've also standardized all three csv files, so the primary creature type appears in the 'Subtype' field, and the secondary in 'Subtype 2' field.

So, for example, all 'Human Warrior' entries will now be shown as:

Subtype : 93
Subtype 2: 196

It makes no difference in the game, but if you're using a spreadsheet to edit the card entries, it makes filtering the cards to look for type errors a whole lot easier.

If you miss creature types, open the Menus.txt file and check the ones marked as "ZZ": they are not used and may be renamed to create the Werewolf creature type and whatever may be of any use.

If you have installed the game according to Wiki instructions or Shalbei way
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=3991
Then all you need is the latest patch from December:
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=5841
In Dec update if you have patched it then go and copy everything in folders MagicGYv45 and NewLimited and paste them in the main magic folder (overwrite everything) and you should be fine.
Then go to
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=3991
and download in the last page the Artwork posted by Sonic to have all artwork showing correctly(follow his instructions)

That's all you have 4 magic exe files each with different cards and you are update for MagicGY and MagicNL use ONLY THE batch FILES MagicGY.Ms-dos batch and NewLimited.Ms-dos batch

Postby gsoltwedel » 15 Apr 2012, 15:59

Can someone please help point me to the download files and installation instructions for the last stable Manalink 2.0 version?
Manalink 3.0 multiplayer is broken, so I am going back to 2.0 and am looking for the best current and stable version to install.

I downloaded everything on the "Installation" page except the Mediafire link to "Latest Code Patch (required):" is broken,
and any other links I found in the Patches area from releases at the end of 2011 for 2.0 are also gone. Any help pointing me to the last / best 2.0 installation files would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Back for more magic the gathering.
Although this comes late congratulations and thanks for breaking the 2000 limit.
I was inittially put off updating on account of a lot of my decks being changed with the new patches. Now I'm going for it but the file for innistrad patch is missing. Can I bipass this one? I'm currently running the beta and dark ascension seems to be working minus some artwork.

Also are there anymore changes coming to card slots in the future. It's a bit of a pain to rebuild decks after patching, or am I missing something?

Again thanks to everybody involved for the great work.
