Actually you need to download Sonic's artwork update, if you want to play New Limited.
There's no way around downloading large files without having the right card art.

By the way, the draft set for Mirrodin Besieged is out. Might as well post it here.

Alex - if you haven't downloaded the card art updates before, check the number of images in your current CardArtxxx folders, and then the numbers of those listed in the card art update post. You may find the folders are not as big as you think.

When you normally install a patch, most people will just copy the new artwork in the patch into their current folders - this leaves a lot of unused redundant artwork in the folders, which builds up over time.

When I compile the card art update folders, I always remove all the redundant artwork from cards that have been replaced in a patch. Which is why I advise people to delete their current folders before installing the updated folders.

Well, now I've downloaded the arts from Masaaki's post on this thread, but I haven't touch the New Limited yet. I just have to change the game mode to activate it, right?

You have to copy the content of the folder NewLimited_V1 into the root of the magic folder and execute the file NewLimited.bat
