I just disconnect from the net and turn off my antivirus to play it. >_<

@ Stassy : I checked with my antivirus, but I guess you've done it too. Plus, Mediafire have a built-in antivirus for the files in storage, so I hope there's no problem.

So I downloaded the files CirothUngol was kind enough to post and when I run the apps I see no text at all e.g. in the deck editor no rules text, shandalar main menu has no text. I have Win 7 x64; DEP is on only for "essential" Windows apps and services. I tried disabling visual themes and had the same result.

I also tried patching using all the files in the first post of the thread applied to the ISO 2010 install. This does not work; I get:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

Apparently I'm missing a DLL.

I did apply the visual c redist update.

You didn't read the warning then:

Do not install any update files from any other version of the game to this 2009/10 CD-ROM version.
Likewise, under no circumstances install these files to any other version of the game currently being developed at CCGHQ.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in the game becoming highly unstable or possibly failing to run, and will require a complete re-installation of the originally installed version of the game to rectify.

The DEP needs to be applied to the magic.exe, not just the "essential" windows apps.

The suggestion would be, you completely uninstall the game, and start again. Because it's probably now corrupted by the ISO files.

Is it possible to have both Manalink 3.0 and the 2010 iso version usable on the same computer? If so, how would one accomplish that. I have a system with Windows XP, SP 3.

i think i could not get it fully working iam missing basic lands they dont show up in editor and some important good cards like miran crusader missing
