Is the number of card over 16 thousands? it seems about 6277.

It would be if that figure related to one artwork image per card - rather than the total number of images in the CardArtManalink folder.
Each Basic Land card has 23 images alone.

I've tryed to install the 3.0 version without success, I follow the tips, and gets 2 situations:

1) Working game, but messes up images on cards.
2) Cards with correct images, but no text, and the UI is messed up.

Someone that have a full flawless 3.0 working manalink can please zip and upload somewhere for install?

if you find that info can you send what you know this way. im collecting a list of subs that are in the game and trying to label them all. if you look in the development section you will see a thread post 2k development. i have a sub code list in there now of what i have found and while it is just the first draft so far it does show where some booster and sealed deck subs are. i dont know if that will help or not but like i said if you can please update me on anything you find that way we can try to once and for all have a good idea of what is and is not card code inside magic.exe. And then we can move that code to the dll and then what is left will just be program code and ai code im sure. :)
can I maze of ith your snowstorm?

I just generated a PlayDeck containing all of the cards listed as "Coded" in the 20120128 Manalink.csv, for any that care to look.

Just to inform, manalink only runs well if you have it on C:, currently, I have installed on C:\Manalink 3.0\Program, and runs fine. If I move it to D:\Manalink 3.0\Program lots of bugs happens (missing graphics and missing text).

None of my Manalinks are on C: and they work fine... Do you have Vista? Did you try restarting your computer after launching Manalink at the old location/after moving the folders?

When trying the Manalink PlayDeck Analyser program, I realized that the Manalink.csv I still have in the root folder has only the 2K cards. I found another Manalink.csv in a magic_updater folder, which is a LOT bigger...
How do I use this one? Do I have to copy it to the root folder and replace the other Manalink.csv? Do I have to copy all the other files in that folder too? Do I have to run Magic_updater.bat first? Why nothing about this is explained in the first post?

EDIT : Never mind, it would seem that Magic.exe in the root uses the bigger Manalink.csv for some reason... But shouldn't all those unnecessary files be cleaned up? There's for instance the DeckEditor.exe that isn't working any more...

That is the purpose of the "working magic folder" thread in the Installation section :
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6401

The Gargaroz version is the clean version, but you will have to manually add the card art and new deck editor.

Unfortunately the DeckEditor.exe from jatill is no longer supported, that is why there is an alternative ingame Deck.exe that Mok created which partially fill this role (not completely perfect in term of word/card type search but still good enough)

Actually, it doesn't. The manalink.csv files can be safely deleted from the root folder, as the Magic.exe no longer uses the csv as a data file.

All the information in the csv previously used by the Magic.exe has been migrated to the Cards.dat, DBinfo.dat, and Rarity.dat files. The csv is now purely used as a resource file to produce the dat files.

Since all the cards had to be consolidated into one database, I'm aware that half the

cards had changed their ID's for allocation purposes - hence our playdecks had to be

re-constructed. However, this doesn't explain why/how only 1/4 of my decks are

available in duel mode.
