Mok editor is a bit tricky to use, but useful nonetheless:Milod wrote:cant find basic land in deck editor ... watzup with that?
and thanks for the update i like it
- if you don't see basic land nor textless card like Savannah Lion, that mean you tried to use the embedded card text filter search engine, if so you need to empty it and hit enter so the filter is reset and show all cards
- Alternatively you can just exit the DeckBuilder or exit the game then reload again the DeckBuilder (I suggest you save your current deck or fill the 40 required card amount with anything to save your progress)
- If you still don't see them that mean you didn't have the Deckbuilder Mok fix, I suggest to look for it in the previous patch thread, the Manalink 3.0 installation thread (or download a working ML folder available in the previously mentioned thread)

Gargaroz, all of my decks are messed up too! I will download that deck analyzer but I wonder why the game can't read decks properly since I have activated the option "read by name" in Mok's ini file.
I've made some test and the deck editor sees my decks with the right cards but, when I enter the duel, the decks are ALL WRONG.
I've run the program and it has fixed the slots. It has moved most of them forward by one...
.10148 Piranha Marsh ...in PlayDeck was corrected to
.10149 Piranha Marsh ...from the Manalink.csv
I really don't understand why they were looking fine in the deckbuilder but not in the duel.
Now all decks look fine in both.

A few pointers for some cards seems to have been changed indeed in ML3 10.3.
Let's take a typical Orion97 deck :
And also ingame duel :

- Code: Select all
;Constructs Deck
;Artifact 1.5 Tribe
;Mattia Loy // Oeion79
;orpheananger@hotmail.com
;08/03/2009
;1
;4th Edition
;The Constructs Deck may obtain outstanding mana quantities not only from Urza's Land and Cloudpost but also by Metalworker, which may allow a fast refueling of cards with Tower of Fortunes and a great use of Staff of Domination. Also, Arcbound Worker works pretty well with Triskelion or Tetravus.
.538 4 Triskelion
.534 3 Tetravus
.529 3 Su-Chi
.492 1 Dragon Engine
.1279 4 Moonglove Extract
.541 3 Urza's Mine
.543 4 Urza's Power Plant

lol Being used as a sample is very funny!
PS: not to complain, but that program to fix decks has re-written my decks description.
I have tagged many of them as "tribe"; "ability"; "not-competitive" in addition to the used colors. It is not so nice...

Behold, as the Analyzer make a backup of your decks in its folder!
Well if not, I have a backup of your if needed :p
Well, I will ask CirothUngol to make an option to keep the comments if needed.

This slot number ID shifting will tend to be a regular occurrence, most notably when adding new sets.
Dark Ascension was inserted in the Manalink.xls file as a block of new slots between the Innistrad block and the M10 block. This means that all the cards in the last patch release after slot 11388 have now had their ID numbers shifted 169 higher.
Also, as Clone's original hard coded slot (39) was causing problems with it's new C coding it was necessary to create a new slot for the card. The old hard coded slot, which can't be moved, or erased, was therefore set as 'Empty' and a new slot was inserted in the M10 block.
So when you include the addition of the new Dark Ascension slots, this then resulted in all the slots after the new Clone slot (11577) being shifted by a total of 170 from the ID numbers in the last patch.

Great work on the patch! I was getting a little worried with the apparent lack of activity on the forum.
Is anyone else having trouble downloading the art? It says it's downloading at like 64kpbs but I've had it going for almost a full day and it's just creeping, but I don't want to close it because it *is* moving...
The Analyzer worked great for me, although it takes a little figuring out. The main problem I had was that it deleted any cards with asterisks in the name in the last version, like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Karn Liberated- and also all the land in those decks! It was only about 10 decks, though, so I just went through and fixed them manually.

Awesome patch! But when I tried the deck analyzer to fix my decks it just gave me a "non-continuable protection violation" and wouldn't run. Is there an alternative fix?

Sonic> I thought the slots were going to be immovable but well you explained why and this is no longer an issue since we have the Playdeck Analyzer, thanks.
About the Playdeck Analyzer, don't forget that it cannot import non Unicode deck so you need to copy all your decks in the folder called Playdeck of the Playdeck Analyzer before analyzing (also anything accepted by DeckBuilder but not by the Analyzer such as special comments)

Mediafire was a bit sloppy yesterday but today it's fine (guess as everybody switched to MF since the MU debacle, they must be under heavy download pressure...)Is anyone else having trouble downloading the art? Great work.
I enjoy to play sealed decks with Manalink, and I find always strange bugs because in limited, there is always imprevisibles interactions, and testing of cards your are not supposed to play in constructed.

...so an option to disable the Color Description would be helpful? I'll try to work that in. Here's another reason to always retain your original files...not to complain, but that program to fix decks has re-written my decks description.

Error Alert! The PDAnalyser should handle all Asterisk\NoAsterisk CardNames correctly, however I discovered that it was dropping the last cards of PlayDecks containing cards of No Color ("0" in the Manalink.csv) during the Sort By Color operation, this has been fixed in v0.2.The main problem I had was that it deleted any cards with asterisks in the name in the last version, like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn and Karn Liberated- and also all the land in those decks! It was only about 10 decks, though, so I just went through and fixed them manually.

I can make a custom tool to edit the csv files, with field validation and 'custom' popups, if someone provides to me informations.

Has anyone had any success using Manalink 3.0 to play a constructed deck via a registered opponent over a TCP/IP (LAN) connection? No matter which build of manalink 3.0 I attempt to use, the registered opponents deck always shows zero cards.
Any comment would be appreciated.
Thank yoo.
