Exactly.
I've tried to strip that download of all superfluous files to make it as small as possible, and I'm still trying to identify more unnecessary files (wouldn't a list of core files be nice?). My optimum goal is to make it as lean, mean, small and compact as possible, while still containing the entire game in a single download. You can always find the CSV, XML, and all that stuff in the Official Update Patch.

Thanx for the interest, guys. It's much appreciated.

Well the only way to do it is the try&error thing, like "remove a file, test, if game is still running, keep going on until you cannot" :P

But even without the card art, the game is still weighting around 300 Mo so it's still impossible to upload it in one piece on Mediafire...

Also I hope this hoster will be kept alive for long, the Megaupload case seems to run into a wall as it might be declared as illegal because done outside US juridiction, but actions were filed against several hosters recently, including our current files hoster...

Last week, I installed CirothUngol's upload as a fresh install for the game & found it working as it should, (with a kind thank you to stassy for getting my decks up to date to work with this latest patch :) ) with no problems. I did something similar to this a couple of years ago which became the de facto install here until V 3.0 was created. I'm glad to see someone pick up from that point in trying to provide the community as a whole, and for newbies in particular, a place to start from!

CirothUngol is also correct in pointing out that the csv & other files not included in his package are always part of any newly released patch, so those who want them can always get the latest from that source.

Well done! 8)

When I downloaded the file and ran the game it had no text and the text-box was covering all the screen from the text-box's "floor" to the screen's top. I closed it and not it won't start again because of a 0xC00001242 error.

How do I fix this?

Did you reboot your computer?
Did you run it on win7 with DPA mode?
Did you install the visual basic dependency?

I know that Manalink 3.0 currently requires the 2010 Visual C++ redistributable to be installed (you can find that here). I was unaware that VB run-times were required, but I also know that they were already on my system. You're probably safe installing the latest one (vbrun60sp6.exe) which you can find here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for medifire link CirothUngol, very helpful.
I little change duel.dat in duelart folder, change fonts of cards description (looks more pretty, like a real cards description). You are free to change this file in Notepad as you like.

How can I play with Planechase or Archenemy Cards? I can´t get these modes run... Thanks in advance for your answers. I tried to add the Planechase or Archenemy Card to a Deck but then I can´t start a match. There is no coin toss and I get the info box that I´ve lost the game.

About the Archenemy put it in your deck and follow bold text deck instructions bellow.
Your deck must be at least 100 cards and have no duplicates, except for basic lands.

About Planechase I can't get it to work either maybe I have an illegal deck but I can't find the rules for it.

Sweet! I have just noticed that, right clicking on the 8th-edition, it is possible to filter all cards using their printing editon! Have had so much fun with that, building mono-format decks with old, glorious cards from the past!
Didn't know that, or maybe I have missed to read it. Just a question: since they are now useless, is it now possible to disable the Revised and 4th edition options from the second botton from the left? Thanks!

@AJ
I've never played PlaneChase either (Planar Magic?), but the original Rules.pdf for it is right here.

@Orion79
It was mentioned in Mok's NewDeckBuilder post here... very easy to miss. It would seem that we need a more all-encompassing ReadMe\HelpFile for Manalink 3.0 detailing all the Rules, Switches, Abilities, Options, Widgets and Gizmos that now populate the game.
