What do you mean? Of course I tend to update my decks, even if now I'm very in short of time!stassy wrote:Orion79, do you still update your Playdeck?
I know that you were a bit disgruntled with Leyline of Sanctity removal and you had a whole deck dedicated to it (Hexproof Deck), let us know if you updated them so the "official" install pack can also be
But I don't see any connection with the new install pack!
The connection is your playdeck included in the install pack, but they need to be compatible with last update, which some of them are not, like Hexproof Deck (since Leyline of Sanctity has been removed)

Not sure why, but this update has completely crashed the program for me. It was working perfectly and I was up to date on the updates. Installed this and everything went bad. I can use deck editor and I can start any kind of match but once I am playing, it will freeze during my opponents first upkeep and never unfreezes.

@oouncolaoo and other guys the problem most probably is caused by few cards that you use often in your decks but AI has problem with them if that happen again please go to the savegame file after you close the program if it has stuck at once copy the autosavegame file zip it (winzip-winrar) and make a bug report in Bug forum attaching the zipped savegame so we can find out which cards cause these infinite loops of AI thinking, thanks.
Maybe they are the cards that use graveyard mill effects that are broken after new update and soon we will have a v2 to fix that.

I had already reinstalled the previous patch to regain functionality. I will copy over the folder and reinstall this patched version so that I can capture the saved game post crash.

Have you tried the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) settings. It could be that you might need to update the exceptions list to cover the updated Magic.exe file.oouncolaoo wrote:Not sure why, but this update has completely crashed the program for me. two questions
when you put a new patch, you have to open the file "patch.exe" and then click Apply patch to all?
or just copy and paste?
and the other when it comes out a card called "deadbox" above "rules engine" the game is too slow and does not pass the first unkeep phase. this only happens to me or what?
create a deck that apparently brings out that card every time. (this is just for testing, that's why I have many cards)
can you check if only freeze on my pc
and which cards should I remove to keep that card out
i use the last version of ML 2012-07-15 with the last patch of 2012-sep
i dont post on bugs because dont believe it is one...
Edit: was a bug of the card Chancellor of the dross (put on bugs report) nothing wrong with deathbox

Thank you Gargaroz! Downloading many patches is less consuming (at least for me) than playing an heavyily bugged game
