Hi Manalink aficionados and happy 2013 ! This time, your beloved Gargaroz is going to give you a nice "new year present" : the best from Time Spiral block ;)
Apart from the usual thanks to Sonic, this time Stassy too did a great job and updated all the "ai base values", so cards like Fact or Fiction will surely works better.
Not more else to say : this block features some unusual mechanic, expect some "approximations".
Also, many thanx to Foolosopher for his work on the Draft / Limited section !

As always thanks guys for the great update and be sure that the work and talent put on this will be exploited to the very end and spread joy to all of us Manalink players.

Gargaroz unfortunately I don't hear anything about the last draft update Foolosopher released in development which makes draft work again it has some bugs but nothing really problematic.Didn't pm you to include it?

@Gargaroz did you add anything to ManalinkEh.dll with this last update?
If I change it with the one with the changes for draft Foolosopher released will I miss any needed code for this update to work properly?

Hi, nice job and many new cute cards! Just to know, is there any new file that interacts with the Playdeck analyzer? I can't update my decks anymore, because the button to run the optimization is always in gray! Like if it doesn't like the the chosen folder or the cards database file.

Also, the game is damn unstable: it is constantly crashing during duel. I can conclude a match more or less only 40% of times, maybe even less, avoiding the game crashing!

Hmm... that's odd. I just checked the PDAnalyser v0.4b with a folder of PlayDecks using both the CARDS.DAT and MANALINK.CSV from the 20130105 update (13026 entries recognized)... it seems to work fine.

As you've pointed out, the "Rebuild" button only becomes selectable if there's a CSV\DAT loaded and there are PlayDeck.dck files in the chosen PlayDeck folder. For how long have you experienced this issue? Check the current selected PlayDeck folder (visible in the Main Window to the left of the "Select PlayDeck Folder" button) to make sure it's pointed where it should be. Please let me know if it still fails to operate correctly... it should work.

No major issue found while PDA v0.4b checking my Playdeck folder beside the usual old issue (special char and truncated deck), though once I find which exactly the culprit (OS or language native) I will report it in its thread.

Beside this, enven if PDA is supposed to automatically check the magic_updater folder when a patch is due I always select it manually so I can have a back up of the old csv version.

Everything was fine: just my mistake with the playdeck folder. It was empty :)

Hi all,

First off, Manalink 3.0 is amazing! Now to my question: I am unsure how to apply the patches. I downloaded the TimeSpiral block but I am unsure where to unzip the archive. In addition, I downloaded (accidently) the January 2012 patch in my excited misreading of the date. Does this mean that my Card Art folder is now "older?"

The game is playing wonderfully and the AI feels almost human at times. I realy want to add the latest block and I am excited about the future of this wonderful update to a classic.

PS: Sorry to add one more question but, the January 2012 update removed the 2000 card limit. Does this mean that all of the cards are available for deck building? I had read something about switching to sets I want to use but with the limit removed, I guess I am asking if I want to buid decks, do I have access to all available cards at once?
