Describe the Bug:
Chancellor of the Spires can be revealed on each of its owner's upkeeps. That also happens if it's not in starting hand.
I seem to remember it used to work in CIA v2.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Chancellor of the Spires

Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
BotG, Duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Chancellor of the Spires can be revealed only once.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Haven't checked the other Chancellors.

All of the first-upkeep-of-the-game effects can, so long as you or the AI have a card in your deck that keeps track of trap conditions; I noticed it with Leyline of the Void. Already fixed.

Generally works, but an obscure case. If you have no cards in your deck that keep track of trap conditions and then use Death Wish to add a Chancellor (or Leyline or other such card) to your hand, then on the next upkeep it will trigger as if it is the opening hand of the game.

Will do the same with anything the rules engine tracks. A consequence of it not always being present, and not always tracking everything. (And there's really very little reason it shouldn't always be present and always track everything, to be honest.)

Well, the problem with the fix Korath proposed is that some of the Trap conditions are really heavy on CPU side and risk to slow down the game for no reason if you haven't cards the needs them if your deck.

- Long term task: inserting all the good stuff I left out from the "Golden Years" mod

Would it be possible to tweak the code of cards such as the Wishes that potentially create Rules Engine to prevent the beginning of game issue? That is the only trap condition that I can think of that would be affected by bringing the card into the game, and it affects a fair number of cards.

As I could see, BAGate, it's already done in dev.
So consider this fixed.

The obscure case is still bugged, i.e. if you use a wish to add a Chancelor to the game when no trap conditions were being checked it will allow you to reveal it at the next upkeep.

Is it worth bothering with?
