Describe the Bug:
~~Shimian Night Stalker ability does nothing as a pre damage effect~~ and is not available at damage prevention step.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Shimian Night Stalker

Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
2014/02/15: Born of the Gods - DUEL

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Shimian Night Stalker ability does something as a pre damage effect and/or is available at damage prevention step.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Well, its ability it's supposed to be used BEFORE the damage is applied ("target attacking creature"), so I can't see the problem...

The creature's still considered attacking until the end of the combat phase.

Comprehensive Rules wrote:508.1j Each chosen creature still controlled by the active player becomes an attacking creature. It remains an attacking creature until it’s removed from combat or the combat phase ends, whichever comes first. See rule 506.4.

I think, but am not certain, that the engine leaves STATE_ATTACKING in place for the right amount of time.
