[confirmed]Door of Destinies no counter when countered

When a player controlling Door of Destinies casts a creature spell of the type chosen for Door and that spell is countered, no counter is put on Door of Destinies.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Door of Destinies
Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
A counter is put on Door of Destinies as soon as a creature spell of the chosen type is cast (regardless of whether that spell resolves or not).
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Possibly other cards that trigger when spells are cast (Spellshock, Deep-Sea Kraken, Dragonlair Spider, Argothian Enchantress, Animar, Soul of Elements and many more)
Edit: This seems related to the Arcane Laboratory vs. counterspell bug. It looks as though countered spells are not considered cast in general.
