[fixed/closed]Control Magic & co weird death behavior

Postby Nexhro » 13 Sep 2014, 21:04

Describe the Bug:
When one of the opponent's creatures is stolen via Control Magic and

1) is sacrificed, a copy of the stolen creature is put into the opponent's graveyard and the opponent gains control of the original creature. Control Magic remains attached to that creature.

2) dies to lethal damage (combat or spell/ability) or is destroyed by a spell/ability, a copy of that creature is put into the opponent's graveyard, the opponent gains control of the creature for a second, and then the creature is put into their graveyard (=2 copies of that creature in the graveyard).

Which card did behave improperly ?
Control Magic

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
CoRM15, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
When a creature enchanted with Control Magic (or similiar) dies, it is put into its owner's graveyard without a copy of that creature being put into that graveyard.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Also tested Treachery, Confiscate, Mark of the Oni -> same bug

Also tested Threads of Disloyalty and Take Possession -> no bug.
