[still bugged]Caverns of Despair no effect
by Nexhro » 03 Oct 2014, 01:39
Describe the Bug:
1) Three or more creatures can be declared as attackers during the same declare attackers step when Caverns of Despair is on the battlefield.
2) Three or more creatures can be declared as blockers during the same declare blockers step when Caverns of Despair is on the battlefield.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Caverns of Despair
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
CoRM15 mini3, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
No more than two creatures can attack each turn.
No more than two creatures can block each turn.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Also tested Crawlspace -> no bug

3+ creatures can block (at least when Lure is used).
no more than 2 creatures can attack (correct).
When attacking with 2 creatures turn ends as soon as attackers are declared.

Working on: housekeeping and archived reports

1- Caverns of Despair affects only attackers of owner.
2- If owner selects 2 creatures to attack after assigning them as attackers you see the combat window but the prompt says "main phase (after combat)..." when you click combat window vanishes it goes directly to opponent's turn= prompts that, however you can see that your attack "ribbon" on the left is still on,AI will not assign blockers, you never make any damage and your attackers return to battlefield as soon as AI attacks and return untapped. (seems to work fine if you attack with 1 creature only).
3- Also it doesn't force you to select first creatures with clause "if able this has to attack this turn" so you can select 2 other creatures and leave the ones that have to attack.
Probably same happens (not tested though) also with creatures "if able this has to block this turn".
