[confirmed]Grimoire Thief - can see cards exiled

When cards are exiled by a Grimoire Thief controlled by opponent, you can see the cards so exiled in your exiled zone
Which card did behave improperly ?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
the cards should be exiled face down
