REPORT here creatures/abilities not affected by Humility

Postby Nexhro » 22 Nov 2014, 19:24

Describe the Bug:
1) When Humility is on the battlefield creatures retain their power/toughness values (don't become 1/1).

2) During (or directly after) AI's first combat phase after Humility has entered the battlefield, all nonblack creatures are destroyed.

3) Humility doesn't suppress all abilities. It seems to cover all keywod abilities (flying etc) and all activated abilities, but some static and triggered abilities like that of Kami of the Crescent Moon are retained.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Humility

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
KOT, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Creatures are 1/1 and lose all abilities when Humility is on the battlefield.

Humility does not destroy creatures.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

Re: [confirmed]Humility crits not 1/1, kills all nonblack

Postby BAgate » 22 Nov 2014, 22:53

I got something slightly different.

1) Only crits in play when Humility was cast gets legacy cards.

2) The next turn death only applied to crits that had legacy cards (which included a black crit for me).

Have you checked teh attached savegame? There's black creatures on the battlefield while Humility is still in hand. They're the only ones still on the battlefield after the board has been wiped by Humility on AI's turn. Also tested giving AI a Bog Imp via debug before casting Humility - that survived, too.

Might, of course, just be coincidence.

Not disputing what happened to you, just reporting what happened with me. I had an Abomination in play when I cast Humility, then cast an Air Elemental and an Aisling Leprechaun and on AI's next turn the Abomination was the only thing to die. So I figure it is more complicated than just non-black crits.

Ok, this will be a long thread.
There are some cards which are still not adjusted to react correctly to Humility, please report them here so I could adjust them.
1) Kami of the Crescent Moon (fixed in 5158596)

I suppose the fix was applied to the 20th December patch so I can report that the original issue still randomly bury creatures (from either a 1st Humility or a 2nd Humility cast in the bf)

Humility seems to have an issue when cast or etb as it acts differently than when it is already in play and then you play the creatures. This seems as an issue of humility legacy. The mentioned cards above without humility legacy seem to be fine.

Humility doesn't remove any of the built-in keyword abilities. Or at least not Blood Knight's or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn's first strike, protection from white, flying, or shroud (sic). fixed
