[waitlisted-aproximation]split second not working correctly

Describe the Bug:
Molten Disaster if kicked for split second it appears with an X sign in stack as un-counterable but doesn't suppress activated abilities or other spells from being cast.It seems to suppress only counterspells and only those that target Molten Disaster.
* I searched but couldn't find if there was anything mentioned about split second not working for abilities or instants.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Molten Disaster or split second ability in general
Which update are you using?(date,name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Manalink 2014/12/20: Commanding 2014 Urzas,duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Molten Disaster whenever you pay for split second and goes to stack nothing can be cast or activated for both players until the spell resolves.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
All split second cards?

Split Second is an approximation right now. Waitlisted.
