[confirm]Mastery of the Unseen-pay x times mana=x times life

AI had Mastery of the Unseen on battlefield which was used to manifest some cards.AI turned a manifested card face up and paid on stack 2 times it's casting cost.AI gained life due to Mastery of the Unseen ability but that was equal to 2 times it's creatures.
Which card did behave improperly?

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Mastery of the Unseen, if you pay the cost x times of a manifested card to face it up only the first activation has any effect - turn the creature face up (the other activations find the creature faced up)and so only 1 time you gain life for creatures you control.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
