[confirmed-partly]Arcane Lighthouse continuous, not one-shot
Describe the bug:
Arcane Lighthouse's second ability prevents all creatures that your opponent controls from having shroud or hexproof until end of turn, not those that he controls when it resolves. So if he plays e.g. a Slippery Bogle after the ability resolves, it doesn't have hexproof (but should); or if you Control Magic a properly-affected creature, it has hexproof/shroud again after your opponent loses control of it.
Which card behaved improperly?
Arcane Lighthouse.
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Dev 6309079.
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Rulings:
11/7/2014: The second ability applies only to creatures controlled by your opponents when it resolves. Creatures that enter the battlefield or come under an opponent's control later in the turn won’t be affected.
11/7/2014: After the second ability resolves, continuous effects generated by the resolution of spells and abilities that would give hexproof or shroud to one of the affected creatures aren't created. For example, after the second ability resolves, a spell cast by an opponent that gives creatures he or she controls hexproof wouldn’t cause the creatures to have hexproof. (If that spell has additional effects, such as raising the power of the creatures, those effects will apply as normal.)
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
No. The only other cards that prevent other cards from gaining abilities (instead of just making them lose them) are Archetype of Aggression and the rest of its cycle from Born of the Gods; those are supposed to, and do, work the way Arcane Lighthouse currently does. Glaring Spotlight's first ability also should work similarly to how Arcane Lighthouse currently does.
