[confirm]Charnelhoard Wurm no trigger if damages & is killed

Charnelhoard Wurm has the usual bug that if it dies and deals damage to opponent (trample damage in my case)it doesn't trigger.
Which card did behave improperly?
Charnelhoard Wurm
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Manalink 2016/08/27: Eldritch Moon v2, duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Charnelhoard Wurm if it dies and deals damage to opponent it triggers.Also because of it's ruling you should be able to target Charnelhoard Wurm itself with it's ability.
Rulings
1/2/2009 If Charnelhoard Wurm is dealt lethal damage at the same time it deals damage to an opponent, Charnelhoard Wurm will be in your graveyard by the time you put its ability on the stack. In that case, you can target it with its own ability.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
