[confirm]Sigil of the New Dawn no trigger payment & more

Postby Aswan jaguar » 16 Jul 2017, 14:18

Describe the Bug:
1- Sigil of the New Dawn triggers for opponent's creatures, too.Doesn't return them to their owners hand, when you selected them at least.
2- Sigil of the New Dawn although it needs {1} {W} to trigger it doesn't prompt to pay the cost and get your creatures back for free.
fixed
3- Sigil of the New Dawn remembers trigger for whole turn at least and will trigger every time you take an action.

Which card did behave improperly?
Sigil of the New Dawn

Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Manalink 2016/08/27: Eldritch Moon v2, duel

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
1- Sigil of the New Dawn doesn't trigger for opponent's creatures.
2- Sigil of the New Dawn triggers when a creature you control goes to graveyard from battlefield and prompts to pay {1} {W} to return your creature to your hand.
3- Sigil of the New Dawn triggers only when your creature goes to graveyard not for the duration of your whole turn.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?

In dev, 1 and 2 are working. 3's still mostly broken: it remembers the cards forever, and lets you keep picking them, but at least only prompts you when something dies. If you pick a card name that's not in your graveyard, it still charges you mana but does nothing else; otherwise, you get the card back, even if it's a different card that died just now, or a different copy of the card that died the first time.

Example:
  1. Discard a Shock Troops.
  2. Cast another Shock Troops and Sigil of the New Dawn.
  3. Have {1} {W} open and sacrifice the Shock Troops; you'll be able to get your Shock Troops back.
  4. Have another {1} {W} open and cast and sacrifice a Mogg Fanatic, and you'll be able to get either the Mogg Fanatic or the other Shock Troops back.
  5. If you instead had {2} {W} {W} during step 3, it lets you get both the Mogg and the Troops back.
