[confirmed]Multikicker vs. Saproling Infestation

Postby Korath » 16 Sep 2017, 05:31

Describe the bug:
Saproling Infestation never creates more than one Saproling token per spell cast, even if it has two kicker costs paid (e.g. Anavolver) or multikicker (e.g. Apex Hawks).

Which card behaved improperly?
Saproling Infestation.

Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Dev 778ccb5.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
One Saproling per time a card is kicked.

702.32d If a spell's controller declares the intention to pay any of that spell's kicker costs, that spell has been "kicked." If a spell has two kicker costs or has multikicker, it may be kicked multiple times. See rule 601.2b.

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
No. The other cards that care about whether a card besides itself was kicked (Rumbling Aftershocks, Ertai's Trickery) only care about whether or not the other spell was kicked, not how many times, and neither is in Manalink anyway.

Cards kickable more than once shouldn't need individual attention, but can be found by grepping source for SF_KICKED2 and card test for "ultikicker". I'm reasonably confident all of the latter work through either multikicker() or do_multikicker().
