Ghostly Possession prevents only combat damage made to creature it enchants, not also damage the creature deals.

Ghostly Possession prevents all combat damage that would be dealt to and dealt by enchanted creature.

Also fails to prevent noncombat damage both dealt by and dealt to the enchanted creature. Ugh - I read the card like, three times. I should really stick to art.

Ghostly Possession prevents only combat damage so it is correct not to prevent noncombat damage.
