Vessel of Volatility - autocast problem

Describe the Bug:
I have 2 Mountain s and 1 Forest in play and Vessel of Volatility. If I cast a 3 mana cost (not an RRR one) card using autocast feature the vessel is automatically sacrificed to pay mana although I do have lands to be tapped.
Which card did behave improperly?
Vessel of Volatility
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
Vessel of Volatility doesn't get sacrificed using the autocast feature if you have sufficient mana from lands or non sacrifice mana producing cards.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
