Aura Thief vs control enchantments no change ownership
by Aswan jaguar » 26 Feb 2018, 18:06
Describe the Bug:
AI had stolen with Domestication my Jwari Scuttler. My Aura Thief got destroyed in battle I gained all AI's enchantments (at least they got a legacy and the cards got the grey = not owned by owner tag) but Jwari Scuttler remained on AI side.
Which card did behave improperly?
Aura Thief vs control enchantments
Which update are you using? (date, name)Which type? (duel, gauntlet, sealed deck)
Manalink dev 778ccb5 version - duel
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
As you can see from the rulings if the enchantment does something to you - as the you control from Domestication. The one who controls Domestication gets to control the creature it enchants.
Rulings
10/4/2004 Gaining control of an enchantment often isn’t very interesting since it probably won’t change what the enchantment is doing. It only matters if the enchantment does something specifically to “you” or “an opponent” or if the enchantment has an activated ability (which only the controller can use).
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
