Menace vs stoning issue

Describe the Bug:
Menace ability and the similar can't be blocked except by 2,3... or more and the trick that if blocked by 1 attacker the attacker is removed from combat and damage is done to player have at least this problem. If you block a creature with menace which has also stoning or the similar if creature is blocked... destroy Gorgon Recluse in my case (or do something) with a single creature, the creature gets removed from combat but the effect card remains on creature which when dies at end of combat.
Which card did behave improperly?
Menace and similar or stoning and similar

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?
We can't have these abilities work right for now but maybe the trick can be made so creatures removed from combat when blocking others with menace and similar clears also stoning and such?

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
