Describe the Bug:
Rite of Consumption makes you gain life equal to the sacrificed creature's power, even if some or all of the damage it deals its prevented.

Which card did behave improperly ?
Rite of Consumption.

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
Dev master head, 6287802.

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
"You gain life equal to the damage dealt this way." Per rule 615.6, "If damage that would be dealt is prevented, it never happens."

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Just about everything templated like this besides Drain Life.

This is independent of Rite of Consumption's other reported bug, which I haven't investigated.

I confirm the problem with damage prevention but it deals damage and gain life equal to creature's cmc and not power as it should.

Yes, it's cmc, which I didn't even notice. That's not so much an inaccuracy with this bug report as a completely different (and more severe) bug.
