From this post:
Lots of these should already be fixed in release, some of them for many, many versions. Off the top of my head:Aswan jaguar wrote:Known bug issues-Notes about cards from the DEVELOPERS:
- Planeswalkers -can be activated on the stack during your turn.: fixed
- Counters - Counters are approximation viewtopic.php?f=86&t=7131&hilit=counters&start=480#p98806: fixed next patch
- Counters - Player can answer an ability interaction with counter viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=495#p121068: not fixed, but the summary here is misstated. The bug is that triggered effects can't be responded to.
- Coat of Arms - The interaction with "Changeling" Creatures causes problems. A fix would slow down the game. viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4161#p55263: fixed
- Frenetic Efreet : you won't see any coin, but the effect is still random: fixed next patch
- Despotic Scepter / Homeward Path : since there's actually no way of knowing if you "own" a permanent, the effect is changed so you can destroy a permanent you control.: fixed
- Oath of Lim-Dûl : it actually check only the damage taken, not the life lost.: fixed
- There's no way to specify the "type" of mana that a permanent could produce in Manalink (apart from Mishra Workshop), so instead of requiring "Snow Mana", some cards will ask you to "Tap an untapped Snow mana source: has a bug thread, remove from this list
- Chameleon Colossus / Mirror Entity : I tried to fix the various interactions, but not all, so I left the "*" in the name.: fixed
- All cards with Proliferate : in case of creatures, you can proliferate only special counters, +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters. This will save a lot of nasty bugs.: fixed
- Lotus Bloom : to make it uncastable from hand, it actually cost 99. I've made some fixes to adjust that, but just in case I left the "*" in the name: fixed next patch
- Devoted Caretaker : "Protection from Instants" and "Protection from Sorceries" are already coded in the engine, but for strange reasons they actually only gives a partial "Shroud" to the affected creature against a particualr kind of spell. So, the damage dealt from Sorceries or Instants to all creatures is not prevented. And I doubt this issue can be fixed.: Duplicate of general protection
- All Hallow's Eve / Ancestral Vision / Hypergenesis --> You won't see any counters, but don't worry : they work as it should be !: fixed next patch
- Phasing works differently from the current ruling. The cards phased out are effectivly removed from the game, will trigger any "comes into play" ability when they return in play and will not retain any auras on them or continous effects (like the one of Brine Hag, for example). However, they will "remember" the number and the type of counters putted on them.: fixed
- Essence of the Wild : since the "transformation" only mimic the actual ruling, there could be some misfunctions, especially if the "Essenced" creature has a CIP ability.: fixed next patch
- Grand Architect & Titan Forge : Mana from Grand Architect can't be used to add a counter to Titan Forge.: Not fixed, but nothing to do with Titan Forge; its mana can only be used to cast artifacts
- Ajani's Pridemate : Correctly interact only with card coded in C: Fixed, though most of the rest of the life-gain triggers haven't been
- Momentary Blink : Cannot interact with echo card type : the window for "fast effects" in Manalink's Upkeep happens before the Upkeep Triggers, and usually you cannot answer to Triggered Abilities in Manalink.: Duplicate of the second bug labeled "counters" on this list
- Venser, the Sojourner : Cannot blink permanent you own controlled by AI: fixed
- Special lands that use the sum of X permanent type to generate mana cannot be used in fast effect steps: fixed
- Creatures with Phyrexian Mana in their casting cost : These cards are considered as their colour for anything that searches for coloured spells (counterspells, cards that gain life when you play that colour, etc...) but don't work with cards that target coloured creatures or coloured permanent.(e.g Blue Elemental Blast can counter Moltensteel Dragon but when it is in play it can't destroy it).: fixed
- Lands cannot be turned into artifact with Memnarch or Liquid Metal Coating viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=270#p93573: fixed
- Godo, Bandit Warlord second ability doesn't work viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=270#p94048: duplicate of a more complete entry below
- When affected by a Control Magic type card, creatures with ability as legacy effect card will lose it at the end of the turn viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=300#p97514: fixed
- Odric, Master Tactician cannot affect morph land once the block choice is done at attacker phase: Huh?
- Axebane Guardian stay tapped with player cancel mana color selection: fixed

- Time Warp and Sorin Markov ultimate are approximation and Time Walk is cast instead. viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&p=105409#p105409: fixed next patch for Time Warp
- Creatures with CIP ability affected by Infinite Reflexion won't trigger CIP viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4108&start=4770#p105404: fixed next patch
- "cannot lose the game" ability is only simulated in Manalink and causes issues. viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=390#p105639: fixed
- Effect that add another mana amount when mana is generated is only simulated and trigger when any mana source is tapped viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=420#p113602: fixed
- Fungus Sliver get counters before damage applies viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=435#p114634: fixed

BAgate, are you going on this list recheck?
What about the striked line, can they be safely removed in order to lighten the big-wall-of-bugs-text (we might lose the ref link but if it's really fixed...)?

Aswan Jaguar edited the list already, but I don't know if he checked them all. But sure, I'll go through them.
As for the strike throughs, anything on that page can be safely deleted (any bug reports will be unaffected). All that info is just a quick info dump to newbies, so if we make a mistake it isn't a big deal. SO let's just get rid of them.

Did a quick go through of the edits Aswan made per Korath's request, and deleted all strike throughs (even one's that won't be fixed till next patch, I don't want to have to do this again for a while). I did however leave a note on snow mana, as that is big enough and widespread enough to warrant a heads up.
Now on to a more detailed look-through...
Edit: Does anyone remember a combo that didn't work with Prismatic Omen (known bugs says it is an approximation, but not how) so it can be tested?

The approximation is that you have to click Prismatic Omen to tap the lands for mana, like with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. Drain Power likely won't work if the land didn't have a mana ability already, but since it's your lands only, I can't think of anything else that would break.

Korath, could you take a quick look at 'Laboratory Maniac corrupt UI graphic when triggering'
viewtopic.php?f=86&t=4134&start=405#p107926 ?
No idea if that is still an issue (I didn't understand the bug as I don't know challenges), but you are probably the best one to figure it out.
Also, I have no idea what this means -* Missing cards in the ML database will only be added at the next ID shuffle

The graphics corruption looks like the same bug Coalition Victory and Vraska the Unseen 's assassin tokens had (C functions used to call the exe's lose_the_game() directly even when the AI was speculating), which is fixed. If it broke the challenge number, too, that wouldn't surprise me a bit.BAgate wrote:Korath, could you take a quick look at 'Laboratory Maniac corrupt UI graphic when triggering'

Rows in ct_all.csv can be moved around (almost) with impunity (the basic lands and alpha duals have to stay at the very start, and the effect cards and 16 dynamic types have to stay at the end, both sets without changing order). Rows in manalink.csv, though, determine the ids used in deck files, so can't change. (This is why decks with vanguard avatars, the elder dragon highlander or archenemy or handicap cards, etc. get broken with every single new expansion - they're moved, totally unnecessarily, to the end, after the new cards added.) If there's a reason for only adding cards with the rest of their expansion besides convenience to the maintainer, I can't imagine what it is.BAgate wrote:Also, I have no idea what this means -* Missing cards in the ML database will only be added at the next ID shuffle

OK, the 'known issues' post has been revised. All issues mentioned are still issues, and all (except for a few basics like AI not considering double strike or the maximum hand size) have specific individual threads that have been created and linked. All strike throughs are gone, and the 2 lists in 2 posts have been combined into 1.

A new patch, so the Pending Reports folder has been emptied into Archived Reports and is ready to be checked. A little help this time...
A side note: unless there is a distinction, if the devs report a bug as rewritten, could we just label it as 'fixed' instead of rewritten? Consistency is your friend (and one less thing I have to change when the bug is rechecked ).

No opinion on the post title, but the reason we make sure to say we've rewritten something instead of just "fixed" is to make it clear that, even if the old bugs are fixed, it's more likely than usual that we've just traded them for a set of new ones.

ATTENTION ALL MODS!!! HELP!!!
We need you all to do your job (and no, I am not talking about Stassy and Aswan Jaguar).
I took a few days off to deal with a severe case of food poisoning and when I come back what do I find? Lots of unconfirmed bugs, no housekeeping that wasn't done by Aswan Jaguar, and no progress on reviewing archived reports (I've done about 3.5 pages so far). There are 6 'active' mods, and only 3 of us appear to be doing anything. We need your help.
End rant.

My bad, when Apr14 was released and you posted about assistance for recheck I completely forgot to ask you again as I was hooked up with Challenge deck.
How can we help with the recheck, can you tell us until which thread the recheck start in the recheck section?
