Done the above
I think the repeated minus signs in Urza's Avenger may be a consequence of the Manalink 3 recoding allowing minus numbers in the power and toughness data fields. Mok changed the ASM coding as the original and Manalink 2 game wouldn't allow it.
Urza's Avenger originally has a minus sign in front of the |n power and toughness variable codes to compensate for not being able to display negative numbers. Removing them resolves the problem.
I can't do anything about the secondary ability card displayed when attacking a Planeswalker though - it seems to be a ASM vs. C coded card thing again.

Seems to be several release later with some legacy effect corrected, still Akroma, Angel of Wrath Avatar is missing legacy text and even legacy effect artwork...

All the Effect/Legacy Text entries in the Manlink.xls for the Avatar cards are correctly entered, not sure why yours isn't displaying. I've got both picture and text here.stassy wrote:Seems to be several release later with some legacy effect corrected, still Akroma, Angel of Wrath Avatar is missing legacy text and even legacy effect artwork...
Although, the card art not showing might be a clue - are you sure it was only the Akroma artwork not showing? Because the effect card uses the same artwork file as the small card, and in your pic the artwork is showing in the small card.
I've found on some occasions when the game has crashed, when you restart the game the artwork and symbols in the big card doesn't show, and you need to reboot the PC to restore it.

Will have to check it after RTR then, because I still have this error after reboot, or unless it doesn't support asian unicode OS

Can't definitively answer that. But do you remember all the problems we had with the non-english characters when the manalink.xls file was first compiled?stassy wrote:unless it doesn't support asian unicode OS
I can say for certain that the xls2csv conversion has to be encoded using code page 1252 Western European (Windows) before producing the games dat files, so it could be the asian unicode causing the problem.

I've had previous experiences with page code problems on a SynthEdit VST synthesizer I built. The memory for the stage gain and time settings on the graphic envelopes was originally stored as western page code characters. If it was run on a non-english OS the synth would always crash as the characters were being corrupted in memory, regardless of whether the page code was changed.stassy wrote:Hum dunno, just checked on my laptop in which unicode asian has been completely removed and the issue still show...
