Mapeditor

This is obviously a tool for editing or creating new maps from scratch.

Instructions:
The .exe needs to be located at your "Data" folder, otherwise it won´t find the .ini files to edit.
(Path\Data\Mapeditor.exe)
You may want to backup Map.ini and Town.ini BEFORE you do anything.

You can start the Mapeditor.exe now.

First you choose the level you want to edit (first row). Then the "level" should be loaded (the map will change).

Now you can click on the "item" you want to move. Lets say you want to move the Town. So you click the town icon.
You will notice that the row / column will change.
Simple change those numbers to move the town (by rows and/or columns). The changes will immediately be saved!

If you change the Towns name, then a town must already be listed at the Town.ini.
(same layout, Level1 = Level1).
The town needs at least 3 Letters to be saved. Changes will immediately be saved.

Currently you need to be sure that the Map.ini file already got an entry for the level you want to edit.
It is quite simple to understand. Everything below "[Level10]" is for Level 10. So if you want to create Level 237 you need to be sure [Level237] (and the stuff below it) does already exist already at your map.ini.

(the numbers are spawn positions), check the Monster.ini for the Monster that spawns at the given location.
[Monster3.8] for example would spawn at level3 , spawnposition 8.

If you got any suggestions for the tool itself or want to share your "map pack", then this is the place for it.

The mapeditor now lets you manually edit monsterspawns / individual monsters stats/images etc.

Either doubleclick the "Spawnposition" or click the "Edit Spawn" Button that should appear after selecting a spawnposition.
