These are the current changes for Mad Wizard 5.x compared to release 4.30.
Release 4.30 supported more cards because it included cards from older sets.
There are however cards from newer sets in 5.x.

Switch to Modern black bordered card sets
4970 unique cards, 14638 total cards
77 deck themes
6 new deck themes : Rat, Combo BW, Tank, Legendary, Ruination, Instant
Updates to existing deck themes
Foil toggle button during gameplay
Cleanup of resources

Thanks for this update; have just upgraded to Mad Wizard 5. It might be my imagination, but the new version seems to run quicker and quieter.

PS. I really like the old default (non-wide) screen backgrounds, so ported them over to the new version. Thanks for this easy customisation!

There was a change to how special abilities are implemented that should improve AI evaluation time.
Also disabling the foil will help during gameplay for better performance.

Mad Wizard latest has again 5K unique cards.

5004 unique cards, 14716 total cards, 79 deck themes
added Unblockable deck theme
