I managed to play 30 games in a campaign with Dreamwalkers 9.8 using 1000 starting life. One game was conceded.
I followed the hints in the Dreamwalkers release topic and it worked out well. :D
The screenshot shows the final deck. Lots of strong effects, weapons with slayer and leech and solid minions do the trick.
War Bear and God of War helped a lot. Turn 20 is also interesting with ultimate.

A fun Mad Wizard campaign using the Blue deck card pool. I started it way back in 3.9 and finished in 4.6, against Minimax on Hard as usual. The deck was a classic control deck, using counter and bounce effects to frustrate the opponent until I could cast a big evasive creature like Mahamoti Djinn, Goliath Sphinx or Plasma Elemental. A few games were won with Talrand, Sky Summoner, whose ability allowed my board to grow as the opponent's shrank. The deck's main weakness - like most control decks - was in the early game, and a few matches were lost to fast aggro decks like Infect, or weenie decks with too many creatures to counter. The decklist is below. Win percentage after 50 matches: 68%.

On to my next campaign using the new hybrid AI!

A long Mad Wizard campaign using the White card pool. I started in version 4.6 and finished in 4.20, using the Hybrid AI on the hardest setting as usual. The deck was simple to play and basically involved trying to slow down the opponent with removal spells, board wipes and prison effects like Cage of Hands and Luminous Bonds. With the opponent trapped and frustrated, a big flying creature could then win in a few turns: ideally, Avacyn, Angel of Hope or Akroma, Angel of Wrath. The custom card Angelic Marshal is devastating and won several games on its own. The deck, however, was very slow and very vulnerable to mana screw. Decklist below. Win percentage after 50 games: 62%

Code: Select all
p1.card1=Hanged Executioner
p1.card10=Akroma, Angel of Wrath
p1.card11=Angelic Marshal
p1.card12=Lyra Dawnbringer

An enjoyable campaign with a strong deck from the Black card pool, as usual against the Hyrbid AI on the hardest setting. This was a really flexible deck with numerous win conditions: game ending creatures like Sheoldred, Whispering One; direct damage in Sorin's Vengeance; or grinding control victories with lots of removal and Fate Unraveler. I had forgotten how good Phyrexian Arena is too. Win percentage ater 50 games: 70%.
