so is anybody willing to look at the GUI for the deck builder or help me out with trying to update it so we can get better filters for card sets...im thinking more along the lines of adding buttons for cycles instead of 1 set per button as there are alot of sets.

Huggy or Snacko are you willing and or able to help me on this or at the very least give me some idea on how to go about this

Mathusalem has replaced certain Card Art files with ones he did that had their dimensions corrected to better match the card frame sizes, thus giving us better pictures.

I have done the same for Orion79's update.
One of the great projects here, led by Huggy and his team, has been the High Quality scans of MTG sets for the use in MWS. I used these files which I have in my MWS library to get these great quality images into ManaLink.

BTW, one card, Vitalizing Cascade does not show it's picture with either Orion's original or my replacement art. I think that the card art number in the db might be incorrectly matched with the card?

EDIT: The art for Vitalizing Cascade is now fixed and is in the version linked below.

So just unzip these into your CardArtNew folder and replace the older images:

I will be posting the above link for this in the Manalink Update Mar 1 2009 thread as well.

One of the long term projects I want to conduct, (preferably with Mathy's involvement), is to go over all the images in the game and check to see if they need to be replaced with art from these great HQ images from the MWS so we get the best Card art possible into ManaLink!
It's something I want to discuss and work with Mathy in getting done over time.

my small error: vitalizing cascade image is tagged as 1617 while it should be 1616.

Permit me a little self indulgence.

The current art for Bog Wraith is, IMHO, awful!
For me, there is only one and that is the original.

If you want the original one too, here's the link for it:

Thanks. :)

What are u talking about?
I have the same art from Beta edition... anyway, I also prefer, in the deck builder, to have original card arts from the first set where a card has appeared!

With all the continous updates and cart art files that have been released, they sometimes contain different versions of art for Bog Wraith. I have had to replace it several times in the past back to Jeff Menges' version.
It happened to me again recently, so if anyone else has had this happen and prefers the original art, I uploaded it.

The big image for Aysen Crusader seem corrupted (1/3 of the image is ok, rest is pixelisated in the deck tool)

Hey,

I have donwloaded the extra cards and the last couple of patches for artworks, stil a lot of cards have wrong or no art at all.

Does everybody has that?

If not where can I find the missing artworks? (cards like damnation, bitterblossom etc; Brainstorm was correct and now it's wrong.)

There used to be a link in this thread with all the art, but I guess bandwidth was an issue. Stay tuned, I'm sure Mathusalem will figure out a solution.

Revan, I've just re-uploaded latest manalink set with Mathusalem high-res arts and some from me to "fill" the holes for some uncomplete cards. Please, check the Manalink Update 10/mar/2009 thread and you will get the images.
I apologize here too for forcing users to download twice the same archive #-o
