[confirmed]Jackal Pup + Phyresis
by stassy » 13 Nov 2012, 18:08
It's back with vengeance, the return of the son of the grandfather, it's the dreaded....reverse infect trample!
Describe the Bug:
When Jackal Pup is enchanted with Phyresis and then dealt X damage, X poison counter will be added to opponent
Which card did behave improperly ?
Jackal Pup + Phyresis
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
ONR
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
When Jackal Pup is enchanted with Phyresis and then dealt X damage, X poison counter will be added to controller
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

In a clean game, when Curse of Misfortunes trigger and player choose any curse and target opponent, opponent library get automatically shuffled and game crashes, so I confirm it.

Re: [confirmed]Curse of Bloodletting
by BAgate » 13 Nov 2012, 20:29
The problem arises when Curse of Misfortunes is in play. If another card causes the problem too, I don't know.
Also, when Curse of Misfortunes is in play, Exquisite Blood stops working (sometimes). So call me clueless about the extent of the interaction.

[confirmed]Exquisite Blood + Curse of Bloodletting
by BAgate » 13 Nov 2012, 22:22
Describe the Bug:
When damage is dealt to a player affected by Curse of Bloodletting when Exquisite Blood is in play, the player suffers double damage but the controller of Exquisite Blood only gains life equal to the original, non-doubled, damage (example, cast a lightning bolt on the player in the above scenario and the player suffers 6 damage but the caster only gains 3 life).
Which card did behave improperly ?
Exquisite Blood
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
ONR
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Life gained should equal damage dealt.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
maybe interactions with other cards that modify damage.

The card works in a clean game, it's another interaction with that damned Curse of Misfortunes.

[confirmed]Lorescale Coatl
by Tyranix95 » 14 Nov 2012, 01:12
0. Head Note:
Lorescale Coatl + Wheel of Fortune. (Partially Works).
Lorescale Coatl + Timetwister. (Partially Works).
Horn of Greed + Lorescale Coatl. (Partially Works).
When two (or more) Horn of Greed cards are in play, and player plays one land card, then HOG forces that player to draw one card for each HOG card in play. (HOG Works.)
When Lorescale Coatl is in play, and two (or more) HOG card are in play, and player plays one land card, and the HOGs forces the player to draw one card for each HOG in play; however, LC does not get a +1/+1 coutners for each card, and the player also does not have the option of declining a +1/+1 coutners for LC. (HOG Works, LC Partially Works.)
With WoF and Tt, The AI automatically assigns on +1/+1 counter for each card drawn. (WoF/Tt Work, LC Partially Works.)
I. Describe the Bug:
A. When player draws a card, then the AI automatically puts a +1/+1 counter on LC .
B. And, if more than one HOG forces a player draw more than one card; then, usually, LC only gets one +1/+1 counter--for the first HOG card drawn.
II. Which card behaved improperly?
Lorescale Coatl.
III. Which update are you using: Date, name? And which game are you playing: Duel, Gauntlet, or Sealed Deck?
Manalink 3.0 : 09162012_m13_v3 : Duel.
IV. What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction?b
Whenever you draw a card, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Lorescale Coatl. (Paratially Works.)
V. Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug?
I do not know; however, Horn of Greed works.
VI. Save Game(s).

How do you define a clean game? Because I just debugged the cards into play in a game without Curse of Misfortunes in either deck and had the same problem.

Would also like to add:
Lorescale Coatl + Braingeyser. (Partially Works). Works just like WoF and Tt.
And Words of War + Horn of Greed . (Partially Works) Works like Lorescale Coatl + Horn of Greed, in that, only the first HoG card draw triggers the WoW effect.

A clean game would mean :
- Only essential/affected cards in play with the minimal additional card to allow the bug reproduction without another interaction (single Duel mode only).
- Keep debug mode use to non bugged additional card (basic/dual land tap/untap or Black Lotus for mana generation), if you are to put a creature into the game it's better to put it into hand rather than bf and play it normally)
- Savegame state creation before the bug and not during its trigger, with all conditions met in order to reproduce it, and of course to self test the savegame before sending it to Bug Report section
To resume : Create an environment of a normal real duel game that can reproduce the bug everytime you load a savegame.
Something like that :
- end game & restart
- play Exquisite Blood then Lightning Bolt to test it, end
- end game & restart
- play Curse of Bloodletting then Exquisite Blood then Lightning Bolt to test it
- end game & restart
- play Exquisite Blood then Exquisite Curse of Bloodletting then Lightning Bolt to test it
- end game & report
In this case, after those test, I can conclude that both Curse of Bloodletting and Exquisite Blood are interacting correctly, so there must be another interaction.

OK, I tried using your savegame (and thanks for the explanation), and it seems to depend on order. If I cast Exquisite Blood first, then Curse of Bloodletting it works as I described in the original post. If I cast Curse of Bloodletting first, then Exquisite Blood it works as it is supposed to. I don't know what interaction that implies.

There is already a report of Lorescale Coatl in the Old confirmed thread, unfortunately it seems random among the cards unless someone can make a link between bugged and non bugged interaction with it =/

[confirmed-new info]Terrifying Presence
by stassy » 14 Nov 2012, 11:30
Describe the Bug:
Terrifying Presence doesn't prevent damage done by creatures other than target creature
Which card did behave improperly ?
Terrifying Presence
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
ONR
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
Terrifying Presence prevent damage done by creatures other than target creature
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
-
The bug was supposed to be fixed for ONR but seems to be not.

It works for me, so it's an interaction with another card.
