AI Nicol Bolis deck

AI Nicol Bolis deck

It was time for someone to design an AI deck based around the Lord of Destruction ... Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker. This deck has just 7 creatures.
From my tests it appears that the Razorfin Hunter and other Tims will only target a creature if that creature will die from just a single Tim attack. It would be nice to see Tims gang up on a creature.
There are two Bribery spells to match the Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker 2nd ability, and we need something for the blue mana besides the required Ancestral Recall.
I actually saw the computer cast both the Ashes to Ashes and the Overwhelming Forces spells.

In the current version, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is still bugged.
I think I've fixed all issues with it though (the problems being: first ability can target creature cards, third ability sacrifice part is very bugged when played by AI).

This is likely my last revision to this deck. Nicol Bolis now works properly and the mana situation appears to be stable.
This deck has been created for the computer's AI to use against a human opponent. This deck now contains basic lands and dual lands. Lands that come into play tapped have been excluded. The Diamonds have been replaced with Darksteel Ingot.

Good to see Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is working correctly for the AI now too
I'm beginning to wonder if the Quest Mode game won't be too difficult now with all these crazy decks.

I play tested this Ai-deck while I was assigned a random generated deck. I played three different best 2 out of 3's. I lost two out of the three matches. We will need to play test the Quest mode to see how it turns out in real life. We may need to tune-down a few of the AI decks. We might have to give the computer a range of Life to start with and not always assign the computer 20 Life to start with.
