How Do I Unlock A Locked Challenge Card For Duel Mode?

You can have that only in different files make another magic file in another path and use one for challenges and the unlocked one for other play,that's how I do it.

I like that idea. I'm going to try it out.

Ok. I got the game running in two separate directories: One dir. called Duel and the other dir. called Challenge.

Now, what should I do to unlock all the "Locked" cards (in the Duel dir.)?

Sorry,but I am not going to tell you the way to unlock the cards,Jatill who made challenges never declared openly the unlock tip - just to a really small circle of people.It is somewhere in Manalink3.0 forums as Jatill once said.(and I respect his will)
The question is are you determined enough to find it?

I managed to finish the Challenge where in the card I want to unlock is. It also said after I won in round nine that I actualy unlocked the card.
Set 3 Challenge 8 Sliver nation.
But I still cant use Sliver Overlord.
"How is this so?"
Any clues please!

I spend a week playing that particular challenge with those pesky slivers for the card I wanted but I dont unlock it!
I didn't finish other challenges.
Do you have to start from Set 1 Challenge 1 and beat it up to Slivers just to unlock it!
I even used a legal deck, the one in challenges section wich use Peacekeeper, Meddling Mage, Algae Gharial, Retribution of the Meek combo.
Why im so pissed is because I made it to round 8 a lot of times but lost mulling for that Peacekeeper, or ways to get it out in my 1st 3 turns of the said round.
And now I just beat the challege and it does not give me the card I want.
That is 1000% unfair!
F*ck those slivers and their boss OVERLORD, I won the challenge fair and square. I deserve that card.

I even noticed that before when i did not unlock Sliver Overlord,
In your hand from the moment you draw it in your deck it had a weird number and symbol name on it. Someting like 4 and # and well I forgot the exact thing.
Now after beating the said challenge, (Set 3 challenge 8 that is, just to be clear), After drawing the Sliver Overlord, it had the correct name on it already. But when I play it, it still says i have to beat the challenge again. Also i cant play it's abilities.

I remember reading that somewhere. Did it last night but still won't work at all. I even restarted my computer but still no use.
After beating set 3 shallenge 8, it clearly stated on the mid screen that i unlocked a card, and wich is the Sliver Overlord.

For real, for real, I own that Sliver Overlord.
That was a fair and square deal, beat the challenge own the card.

I too was wondering if there was an easier way to unlock all the cards.

I've read the tutorials and played the gauntlet (with broken decks et al) many times. But I can't say I'm enjoying it one bit. I'm sure some other people do, I have no problem with that, but myself personally would rather chew glass (or pay a donation, which I have done and am willing to do again) than go through all the challenges to play such a great game to its fullest.

I want to sound reasonable, hence why I am listing the reasons why I detest doing the challenge modes.
1. Sooner or later the game often crashes. Not all the time, but the odds are against me. Too many elves, or a card that keeps looping, or ironically getting a card I still need to unlock in the Chaos Orb challenge; it's frustrating to lose to randomness.
2. I love Magic as a balanced system. The reason I like Mana Link so much is because it's part of the the Magic universe: I can experiment with future decks, try out old tournaments, see if I can improve someone else's combo, etc. The gauntlet is in its own universe: Tier 1 cards, Vanguard and all kinds of crazy stuff. I don't feel like I'm playing Magic, more like I'm fighting against a raid boss in an MMORPG.
3. I'm philosophically against any 'work' done in games in order to play other parts of the same game. The only Magic I play in real life is draft because I want a level playing field: I don't want opponents to have to spend hours collecting/trading/buying in order to have a fair chance. The same goes for grinding in MMORPGs, or unlocking characters in fighting games. I only want to do the part of the game I enjoy and refuse to be treated like a donkey with a carrot on a stick.

Nevertheless, ManaLink is still an excellent tool I enjoy every time I start up. So far I've had a lot of fun setting my own parameters. It just bums me that I myself cannot enjoy every aspect of it. So what I am asking if there was a way to get around this.

I reported this bug to the bug forum so developers can check it out.

EDIT if you have unlocked the 3-8 it isn't Sliver Nation but Easy as 1, 2, 3... which unlocks Bloodbraid Elf please check if you have unlocked Bloodbraid Elf and then try 3-10 which is Sliver Nation.

Sorry, I was refering to what was written when I play Sliver Overlord in before I unlocked it.
It refers to Set 3 Challenge 8. But I also know that when you count the challenges in set 3, Sliver Nation is 10th. That is why its also confusing to describe. It seems that when the card was still locked, it refered to a certain challenge. But the actual challenge count does not match to what the locked cards refer.

I'll tell you what Gargaroz told me... read the SourceCode.
Look in the latest update for \src\functions\challenge_mode.c.
This info can also be found in the PlayDeck Analyser source (click View / SourceCode.rar and extract PlayDeckAnalyser.bas), but it's more obvious in the C code.

This information isn't considered a secret per se, it's just considered improper to speak it outloud. Even if you don't know C or BASIC, a little digging in the code will yield much quicker results than playing the Challenges, if cheating is your true desire.

I honestly don't think that Manalink will mind being hacked... it's probably used to it by now. ^_^

Anyway, it's not that hard to finish the challenges even if don't have a peek at the source code, and also his issue is a reported bug so it should be fixed soon.
