If my friend has Skidrwo version but I have the original, we can't play multilayer right?

Skidrow versions usually block the online connections, I guess DotP2014 is no exception. I don't know for sure because I'm using 3DM version.

Last time i checked (a couple of weeks ago) i was able to play online against a friend by using Greenluma and the latest Steamworks fix for the game.
But i couldn't find any matches available when looking for random players.

Both of us had the Skidrow version.

Does the steamworks fix jeopardize your legit steam account in any way?

I don't know if this method still works, but if you're going to try, you should just create a new account for safety.
