Any update on m14? Also, I can't find any DGM or GTC images either. Thanks.

No problem, I meant my criticism to be constructive. Can you also look into the blurriness issue as well?
Thanks! I really do (I'm sure among many others) appreciate your help with this project!

Yeah, I believe I have figured out both issue's. Have not had time to roll back through the processing as life has been fairly busy the last few days. The gatecrash card you posted looks really bright and saturated to me for some reason but I am still learning the color adjustments.Xitax wrote:No problem, I meant my criticism to be constructive. The M14 cards came in today and I probably wont have them scanned for another day or so (if not longer).

Yes, there was some discussion about the darkness of the images in the thread about the set. And trust me, I am still learning so dont worry about offending or upsetting me. I want to get things right.

Thanks for the initial processing Woogerboy! I reprocessed your fulls a little for Forge before I upload them to our server and here's the comparison (your fulls > gatherer > reprocessed):
Its not perfect but image and frame colours are a little closer to the Gatherer images. Main issues are that the rules text suffered a little from the adjustments and reds are a tad too strong in mid levels. I also adjusted the borders to match earlier CCGHQ fulls (art area 460x660 with 10px black border -> 480x680). Full set of .fulls here.
Attached below is the action I used if you want to check out the curve adjustments. Just rename the extension to .atn (extension not allowed on these boards)

Folks, we try to match what the printed card is like, not what Gatherer images are like.

Sorry Huggy, didn't mean to imply otherwise. I just knew woogerboy had mentioned struggling with some of the levelling and I took the line from skibulk's processing tutorial too far: "Next open the corresponding Wizards.com card image gallery and compare the official card colors to those in the scan. Use a Hue/Saturation adjustment to match them, within reason." I just kinda took it the extra step and tried to match tonal values too. I don't have the majority of the cards so couldn't match to the real print.Huggybaby wrote:Folks, we try to match what the printed card is like, not what Gatherer images are like.

Right, I'll remove that from the guide to clarify. I don't own the cards either, so that's all I've got.

No problem guys, we do the best we can with what we have, and we can never get them perfect anyway.

I like moomarc's stuff. Maybe we need a change.

That's the problem with reprocessing the images. I didn't work from raw scans so adjusting the card to reframe caused the slight blur already present (especially after curve adjustment) to be emphasized. If I have time I'll help with the original processing, but I seldom know more than a few days in advance whether I'll have free time so can't commit to anything. Mostly I had just wanted to get a slightly brighter set up for Forge so these were fine when reduced to the 250x354 ones I use for set images.Xitax wrote:There's still a significant blurriness to the new scans.Daily Regimen.full.jpg

Thanks. I was just trying to offer feedback with the assumption that we'd want the best pics possible, but no worries on time or any of that. I'm chill with it. They'll look just fine reduced for Forge.

How's this one look? The issue with the released full's is they were generated incorrectly from the 600DPI images. Once reprocessed they will be better. Just trying to get a good understanding of colors and levels before re-releasing them to get a much better look.Xitax wrote:There's still a significant blurriness to the new scans. The attachment Daily Regimen.full.jpg is no longer available
