Hi everybody,

thx a lot for your good work!!! I really enjoy using this programm.....but I'm a newbie ! i'm trying to make a "power cube" from the original list of wizard holiday cube.

When I put the csv files on the batch, a lot of cards are missing and I dont really understand why! (see image below)

Can someone explain me why? I understand that recent cards like True name nemesis are not yet in the package.....but Emrakul, Thalia, Kozilek, etc.....

Commas. You need to put names with commas in quotes

I think you need the expansion too. Your best solution is to turn it into a Magic Workstation Deck file.

For example, the CSV output when I try to do the Kamigawa set is:

1,"Boseiju, Who Shelters All",CHK
1,"Cloudcrest Lake",CHK
1,"Eiganjo Castle",CHK

i solved the art folder stuff, but then, it says:

0 images written.

what do i have to do?

I was on wrong mode.

Im trying to print holiday cube oroxies.

UPDATE 2:

nvm, got it to work.

thing is the crops i dld are all x.crop, and i need to remove .crop

damn... that´s gonna take a long time do make those proxies, lol...

Getting this, tho:

Delete any residual output files. You can try something like Ant Renamer to mass remove the .crop from all the file names.

It's amazing, I'm very surprised and excited reading this thread. I was an ex-player (I hadn't played for 14 years, until last christmas when I played commander and discovered cube drafting).

I arrived to this thread looking for a tool for make proxies. Your tool is fantastic, thank you very much. It's working perfectly on my Mac.

I'd like to get more information about how to generate a new cards.csv file. I want make a new file, in spanish language. Or, if you know, information about translated versions of that file. Once again, thank you very much.

Hey there.

In order to make a new cards.csv you need to do the following:

1) Get the latest Masterbase from Goblin Hero or MTGBr
2) Rename master.mwsbase to master.cds
3) In the ~\misc\import folder, run cdsExplorer.bat
4) Open the master.cds, select all the records, right click then save it as a csv file.
5) Drag the csv file onto mws2cards.bat

As for the Spanish Language, I do not know. I don't think the non-english masterbases have been updated in years. I will look into it but I would not hold much hope. There is a new card frame coming, no-one seems to be making updated assets for this generator and I am unsure if Snacko has the means/time/will to continue working on this and changing the cards.csv to use Gatherer Extractor rather than MWSBases.

Gatherer Extractor doesn't do Foreign Text, does it? Last I know only the foreign card names could be saved. I'd wait until mtgjson.com adds multilingual support (The owner said he plans to implement it one day). Most sets after 8th edition are available in Spanish, so that's no problem.

If you want to add support for pre-8th Spanish sets, and you're willing to make a spreadsheet with the Spanish card name, type, text, flavor, I would be willing to convert the spreadsheet to a HQCG-usable CSV. Let me know if interested and I'll give further instruction.

No clue. You need to find art assets for them and I don't think anyone has ever done updated ones.
