Well, maybe except Liliana of the VeilPux wrote:It was Kiora, the Crashing Wave and Jace, Architect of Thought. I just thought the problem affected all planeswalkers because the two I played against didn't work. I'll test some more walkers and update my post if more don't work.Xyx wrote:Which planeswalker? I've seen plenty of Liliana of the Veil ultimates.Pux wrote:The AI doesn't seem to be able to activate the ultimate abilities.Depends on the situation and the planeswalker, but I don't always dare to wait another turn.Pux wrote:A good rule would probably be for the AI to activate it if the planeswalker will have 1 loyalty counter left after activation.
Edit: Not working are:
Ajani Goldmane
Ajani Vengeant does not target lands with his +1 ability and just sits there if nothing else is in play.
Ajani, Caller of Pride
...and a lot more, probably. I tested with an empty board, so this might be related. But not activating ultimates if the board is empty is stupid

AI cannot use Fireball - will often deal not enough damage to kill a creature, or divide it amongst so many creatures that none (or few) will get killed

With Manabarbs in play, the AI will occasionally kill itself by casting spells.

If the AI has Satyr Firedancer in play, it should always target the player with its burn spells and not his or her creatures.

Satyr Firedancer can't target players. But it also can't target creatures not damaged by the triggering spell either.Pux wrote:If the AI has Satyr Firedancer in play, it should always target the player with its burn spells and not his or her creatures.

Oh apparently answering Forge questions while I wait for my production server to finish Deploying was a bad idea. Sorry about that Pux.Marek14 wrote:He says "target the player with its burn spells".friarsol wrote:Satyr Firedancer can't target players. After playing Lethal Vapors, the AI immediately destroys it, which might not be clever.
But it gets worse: In multiplayer sessions, all players immediately destroy it, even non-opponents. They further destroy it in reaction to each other, so this will be stacked indefinitely and the game has to be closed.

The AI repeatedly activates Thought Dissector for 0, despite having lots of mana available.

Would it be possible to incorporate some kind of priority for Tinker so that the AI will Tinker for Blightsteel Colossus as a first priority if he is present in the deck?
Playtesting Vintage decks is kind of silly when the AI Tinkers for Sol Ring.

Latest trunk: AI cast Reknit (Regeneration Spell) on a card that already has a Regenerate ability (Ranger en-Vec)

AI exiles Bridge from Below or Ichorid from his graveyard when I activate the first ability of Relic of Progenitus, although there were plenty of lands and other irelevant cards in the graveyard

AI destroyed its own enchantment with its own Mortal Obstinacy.
EDIT: And even the Mortal Obstinacy itself.

AI has two creatures. I attack with Agent of the Fates. AI attempts to trade with one of its creatures. I cast Boon of Erebos on Agent of the Fates. AI sacs the creature that wasn't blocking, even though the other one ends up chump blocking anyway.

AI cast Hour of Need targeting my Brimaz, King of Oreskos Voltron (which was understandable) and my 1/1 Cat Soldier (which was stupid).
