Changed themes for the first time today. The app will freeze when selecting a new theme and then require a force close. Upon reopening the app the new theme seems applied but when trying to use the app several graphical glitches appear and the app locks up. Tried to switch to 3 sepperate themes and errors continue until I return back to the default theme.

I tried another game again - same deck... I did OK.. OK ..OK.. did not try to speed up the turn via END TURN button.
The game completed successfully. (I lost.. lol)
So not sure if that means anything or not.. lol
I uploaded here (see below) all the decks in the mysealed1 folder (my deck plus what I am guessing are the two AI decks as well).
SideNote:
1) I had a card - Master of the hunt i think. 2+2G to cast. Its a 2/2 creature. For another 2+2G I can have a 1/1 wolf spawn with banded. I was trying to use it as a blocker, but everytime i try to select it to block, the application thought i was trying to use its ability and so was asking me to pay the 2+2G. How do you tell it that you just want to block - not use the ability?
2) Just to agree with previous poster that changing themes hangs the app. you have to force close and reopen - but the new theme does take effect. Other than the game itself freezing, I dont get any other type of glitch.

Yeah that's what was kinda bugging me because I have seen other people posting pics of applied themes but when I did it it just gave me problems. The glitches are bad. It shows like garbled graphics and touching the screen switches the graphics a bit but just pretty much allows me to toggle between two sets of garbled graphics on a frozen app. Maybe it was the themes I chose but I did 3 different ones before going back to the working default. I don't know.

I'll investigate the issue with changing themes. I think it's not actually freezing, but rather it's just busy generating fonts. If you interrupt that process, that might explain why you experience issues after restarting. You could try deleting the font cache at Forge\cache\fonts\<skin name>\ and see if that fixes things.

I just released 1.5.20.005, which adds a loading screen while changing themes and improves the speed a bit. It also changes it so only one skin has its fonts cached at a time, that way you don't end up with 30MB of font files per skin you try out. Let me know if this fixes things.
I'd recommend people go in and delete all the sub-folders in Forge\cache\fonts as they will no longer be used.
Let me know if you still have any troubles switching between themes.

Updated to .005 today. The theme problem is fixed now. I deleted the /cache/fonts/ sub folders and loaded a new theme without crashes on my N7. My ZTE AWE however took a restart of the app to fully apply. Before the restart all I seen was a blank blue screen. Either way after the restart the theme applied. This update seems to have solved all issues with theming thus far. Thank you.

I just noticed that the same freezing issue I am describing here was also reported by another player in the latest PC Version of Forge (1.5.19).
So it may not be just a mobile phone issue.

I'm having this same issue. Some cards show and some don't, and I get a crash error when I go into deck viewer in a deck that contains the ones that don't (A large amount, it seems to be every deck has at least one card not show, usually half).tonetisd wrote:Forge\res\cardsfolder\ contains card text files.

It does! thanks! for some reason the cache folder wasn't shown on the computer. So my advise is for people to use a file explorer app (like ASTRO in my case).
However it only shows a few cards and everytime it needs to show one that it can't, a crash report appears.

I just released 1.5.20.006, which fixes an issue where the cached font files wouldn't be properly replaced when changing themes, resulting in the font for one skin being used for other skins. It also fixes it so any time you take an update, the font cache is cleared, which ensures any changes to the skin fonts are able to be respected, as well as making it so anyone who hasn't gone ahead and cleared the previous font cache subfolders for each skin won't have worry about it once they take this update, as they will be deleted automatically.

Here is something new. I was playing a Flames of the Firebrand and I was unable to target the opponent. Any attempt would output an error. I was able to target creatures however. I have included screen shots and game log to aid in assessing the error.

In addition, 1.5.20.007 also fixes the issue with the display of split card mana costs, which was reported a page back by friarsol. It also improves the card art clipping for split cards to show the art for both sides in a nice way, as shown below.

Just FYI - I have completed a few games now and no freezing.
Request though - while managing your deck/sideboard between matches, could we get a preview window for the cards (when clicked)? I was moving from one match to another in a Sealed deck matchup and could not remember what the details of the sideboard cards are. A preview window would be nice.

Downloaded new version - 1.5.20.007.
It starts, resets the theme to default and hangs about 25% into downloading resources. I've rebooted my phone and it still hangs on loading screen.

Nevermind.. deleted all folders except the pics and reinstalled. It loads ok now
