After a close inspection, it turned out that all 11 cards from Teppic are blurry Like old versions of Magic 2014, Theros, etc. And they are twice as big as XLHQ. Hopefully they can be reprocessed:

Warleader's Helix - was already posted in XLHQ (in perfect quality)

Recently posted Elvish Champion & Glorious Anthem don't look perfect as well, but since they are from ebay scans, I assume they have the best possible quality.

That's interesting. They look fine to me. Are you sure that because they are so large it isn't just that some software is scaling them down badly and making them blurry?

The reason we rescanned Warleader's Helix is that the original had strange colours and the foil watermark came up pink instead of white. To my eyes the newer one is much nicer.

Hm... Possibly, I can't be 100% sure. At the moment I don't have a Photoshop around to downscale them to XLHQ size. I will appreciate if somebody does that If not, I can do that later myself (I don't think there is any magic around that).

Ok, I have installed a Photoshop on my notebook... I have resized some images to XLHQ size using Bicubic method, and they look exactly like zoomed original images (I mean, blurry). Comparing to the recent images uploaded by extreme (Treasury Thrull, etc.), the difference is huge. It seems to me this blurriness has the same root cause as blurriness on old versions of Magic 2014 and Theros (that has been successfully fixed).

The 600dpi images (4KHQ) are not filtered the keep them as close to the original as possible. The 300dpi images are sharpened. I've attached a screenshot with the settings to use.

uh, there is no "correct" xlhq and I never sharpened the 600dpis. I also don't find them blurry, that's quite strange, can you maybe post a print screen of a portion of what you see at 100% ?

According to skibulk, 600 dpi is not sharpened (you are right), but 300 dpi *IS* sharpened.

So, actually, 300 dpi (XLHQ) versions of those cards were not posted at all, I just resized 600 dpi versions myself and obtained "incorrect" 300 dpi version without sharpening, that I didn't apply

In other words, I'm just asking for "usual" 300 dpi versions of the cards (and I believe they will be correct).

oh come on, how difficult is it to resize an image to 50% ? You only need to select "bicubic sharper" for the resizing method.

According to skibulk, they are not just resized (I did that and obtained blurry images), but also sharpened using special settings =)
