What do u mean..they have an ai but it isn't as good as ours. Their officL word is that the AI is just so u can test play. Not to be tough I guess. Still a good game though

I mean, how is it actually stupider than the one in Manalink? All ours does is cast spells in the most idiotic ways possible and attack.

Manalink's AI can be surprisingly clever at times; it's caught me off-guard once or twice with stuff I didn't see coming (admittedly, partially because I was underestimating it and wasn't paying as much attention as I would have against a human player, but still.)

Aside from failing to understand a few abilities (like Flanking), it usually does a good job blocking optimally, for instance. And it clearly does have some degree of lookahead -- I've seen it pull tricks like deliberately raise the power of enemy creatures or lower the power of its own in order to manipulate the effect of a Meekstone. I've also seen it sacrifice creatures to sacrifice outlets solely because that creature was causing a problem for it in one way or another.

these cards exist in the list as coded (released) cards but i can't find them in the game
so, is there something i did it wrong or what ?

They should appear as CONSPIRACY special card at the beginning of the card list in the DeckEditor, though I have yet to test them because they might require draft mode...in Duel mode it's kind of buggy, don't know if a report is needed

I have these cards but they have word CONSPIRACY before them in DeckEditor like that:
_CONSPIRACY_Brago's Favor
_CONSPIRACY_Double Stroke
_CONSPIRACY_Immediate Action
And so on
and that's why i didn't notice that these cards exist in the game because the word CONSPIRACY distract me.

Could you include the updated Manalink.csv with the minipatch? I assume that if I re-generate Cards.dat or DBinfo.data with magic_updater after installing the minipatch, it will cause problems because the patch changes those files and the output from magic_updater overwrites them. But magic_updater is AFAK the only way to change the cards available in sealed.

Hi all,

No matter what I try, I cannot get the newest pics to show in the Deck Builder. I know that Sonic stated that these latest images are LQ until HQ images can be sourced. But I am assuming that I should be able to see them nonetheless. I see them in the proper directory but not in Deck Builder. I have applied all the mini-patches but still these images are not being detected by Deck Builder. I have tried three times copying them in and each time I am asked if I want to overwrite and I click Yes.

Any ideas what might be wrong folks? I would like to try some of the decks from Forge in Manalink but I can't without the images.

I can think of two possible sources for your problem, Vlad:

1) You have only installed the minipatches without installing the actual patch first.

2) Your CardArt folder was older than Jan 2014 when you applied the M15 patch. In this case, follow Sonic's instructions.

If you are downloading Manalink 3.0 for the first time, or your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder is older than the January 2014 release, please download and install the folder and files in the following archives:

Delete your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder and replace it with the folder in the 2012_CardArtManalink archive. Then copy the artwork from the 2012_2013_CardArtUpdates, January, February, April, and May archives into the newly installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder.

If it's neither of those two, I'd recommend a reinstall by taking the steps Korath mentions here.

This usually indicates that you're using an eyepatch-wooden-leg version of the game. I don't know where the respective "patcher" set the alternate savegame destination to or whether/how the saving method has been modified.

If you're using a purchased copy of the game, the issue is rather cryptic. Have you finished/skipped the tutorial and chosen a starting deck?
It's possible that the game doesn't create a profile file prior to that - would make little sense to me personally if that was the case, though.

There's also a more suitable place for questions like this: The DotP subforum.
The chaps over there are more likely to provide helpful advice on all things Magic 2015.
