I searched for this card bug and found nothing, which is weird considering how good it is and popular it was... I guess nobody likes to play old formats maybe.

When playing Phyrexian Dreadnought, I got ZERO prompt to sacrifice 12 power worth of creatures. EVERY time, I will just have the option to press OK / End Turn and nothign else. Can't left click, can't right click, neither the Phyrexian Dreadnought nor any creature on my field. It will just go straight to the graveyard :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:
And you can clearly see I got 12 Power and more on my field ready to be sacrificed... :roll:

Forge version 1.5.40-r1

So yeah. I've been trying to summon it half a dozen times already, but I NEVER can find any way to sacrifice my creatures, despite always having way more than enough, and it's not an issue of X/X or */* or 0/0 creatures getting buffed up, as you can see on the screenshot I had Force of Nature (8/8) & an Erhnam Djinn (4/5) , both are providing 12 Power out of the box :roll:


It's kinda pissing me off since I used to own and play this card in my childhood and it's a MAJOR disappointment here :( :? :shock:

If there is some kind of acknowledegment / support from the staff / developpers, I will post more Mirage and earlier blocks bug reports properly later on... [-o<

Some examples
Wall of Roots is always being used twice in one turn automatically when pressing OK / Space to pay mana costs when you have enough mana with other sources (Llanowar Elves, terrains...)
Flanking creatures force a manual OK press with the mouse cursor instead of being able to press the Space bar keybind to pass/auto accept like usual during combat when there are more than one creature blocking

Or how the A.I makes really weird moves and decisions (some are so weird I doubt it's an A.I limitation but more of a lack of code script at all) like:
Fireball being wrongly used by the A.I who can't do maths (paying for 1 damage and then dividing it by more than one target resulting in 0 damage done for ex)
NEVER using Ifh-Biff Efreet's ability more once per turn (despite having bazillions of green mana available)
Summoning Viashino Sandstalker every turn but not attacking with it when the player has beefier creatures that can tank it fine
Attacking with some creatures despite the player having tankier creatures
ALWAYS attacking with flyers with 4 or less toughness when the player has an untapped Femereff Archers :roll:

But I don't have much hope for the A.I when it comes to decision making (especially if it's limited to simple bolean YES/NO conditionning lol )
I might check the dedicated A.I threads but for now I don't mind it as much as the Phyrexian Dreadnought bug anyway. (or how those "hard" & "super hard" opponents ALL use some form of counterspell spam with bazillions of Power 9 and other broken oldies in a Mirage block environment =D> Talk about fair play...)

Also a general "bug":
The Forge software will ALWAYS start to lag (0.5 seconds freezes and worse) after its memory leak reaches 800 MB + and it gets worse and worse the longer it goes on. After 1~1.1 GB of memory leak it becomes really hardcore, with up to 1~2 seconds of delay/freeze sometimes, when you're not used to it you might press OK / press Space bar multiples times during the lag instances and it will take them into account making you end your turn :D

Step by step reproduction of the Phyrexian Dreadnought bug here:

^ at which point I'm supposed to sacrifice stuff, yet, I got NO OPTION TO DO SO, I can left or right click creatures but it will just make the bottom left corner flash in red, OR if they got an ability it will activate their ability. I can only press OK (space bar) and then it will just sacrifice my Phyrexian Dreadnaught automatically :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

The only thing I "can" do is right clicking the log tab where it describes Phyrexian Dreadnought 's ETB ability and it will make a popup appear which says "auto-yield" with a tick box...

I'll try ticking that "auto-yield" option in a minute or so. I doubt I will get a reply before here that anyway so I'll be able to check every option possible to prove it's 100% buggued an unusable :D
EDIT: Auto-yield just auto-press OK/space bar and does NOT sacrifice creatures. It will just auto trash Phyrexian Dreadnought in the graveyard >_> Welp, there goes my joy to play this card again I guess. Let's hope for a bug fix before long (maybe).

My main issue here is that you are using a really old version of Forge. 1.5.40 is several months, if not a year, old. We are up to 1.5.49. I would suggest upgrading to that version before complaining about card bugs. Just sayin'.

For your information, the 1.5.49 version is Android only as far as I know.

But yeah, otherwise it's true I should have updated it (wish there was an announcement/auto search for update inside the client cause when I went to look at the version number in the About window I thought it was up to date seeing nothing else written, I guess I'm too used to Google products)

Well, maybe because there was no announcement about the Phyrexian Dreadnought bug at all, or because it was(not) fixed at all =D> (Otherwise I would have seen it in release notes or in the (advanced) search I did. There are results for Shandalar and possibly other softwares, but almost none for Forge).

Well guess what, bug is still present :mrgreen:

I cannot do anything except press OK when Phyrexian Dreadnought is cast or when its enter the battle field ability triggers. It gets instantly put in the graveyard with 0 option to even say yes or no to the ETB ability trigger :wink:

I read the thread. You sound angry and entitled. Usually when you want someone to do something for you, those aren't winning ways to have that happen. Sorry that a 20 year old card that probably no-one else has played any time recently had a bug in the engine. Did you really need so much demonstrative insults and emoticons to report it?

We don't control the forums, we just live here. We can't do anything about the warnings for being a new user. Once you get to 5 posts the restrictions are lifted.

here to chime in and say new versions are NOT android only, download snapshot builds from here: http://www.krazyweb.net/forge/ since devs acknowledged the issue, it might even be fixed in the newest iteration
