[confirmed]Last Chance still triggers if turn skipped
by Korath » 30 Mar 2016, 00:50
Describe the Bug:
If you skip the extra turn from Last Chance (say, with Chronatog or Time Vault), you lose the game at the end of your next one.
Which card did behave improperly ?
Last Chance; both Chronatog and Time Vault (in different ways); or both.
Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
BFZv2.
What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
10/4/2004: If you end up skipping the extra turn that is gained, you do not lose the game.
Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?
Savor the Moment and (obviously) Warrior's Oath.
(Also: I'm pretty sure extra turns are still played first-in-first-out in Manalink, not last-in-first-out per the other ruling on Final Fortune. Which is a different bug, but you'll want to plan for it when fixing this one.)

Are we sure that the card rulings concerning Final Fortune apply to all other cards with similar rules text? I am asking this because Final Fortune is an instant and has these rulings and the others Last Chance & Warrior's Oath that don't have rulings are sorceries. Is there a specific WOTC policy for this?

I've never seen a specific policy, but I'd assume the same language is treated the same. Of course, this being WotC, I could be wrong.
Working on: housekeeping and archived reports

It's identical wording; the first ruling is straightforward with respect to the card; and the second ruling is straightforward with respect to the comp rules ("500.7. Some effects can give a player extra turns. They do this by adding the turns directly after the current turn. If a player is given multiple extra turns, the extra turns are added one at a time. If multiple players are given extra turns, the extra turns are added one at a time, in APNAP order (see rule 101.4). The most recently created turn will be taken first."). So pretty sure.
