Hello everyone and thanks, specially the firemind. I´ve asked to Spirolone if intending to update his unlocker patch to work with Kaladesh. Waiting for...the firemind wrote: At this point I think that the best course of action is to unlock all possible cards through your tool, since the clean profile is not an option anymore.

The game is still incompatible with ID >= 1024, manifesting the same symptoms described here (cards that are colored but locked in the collection), so I would have guessed that the profile format didn't change at all. Maybe they rearranged something in order to fit information about sleeves and full-art lands?Tons wrote:I´ve asked to Spirolone if intending to update his unlocker patch

TFM, exactly how did you use Spirolone's tool to continue modding? I can't semm to get it to work. Also, I always use your test ZEDs as the base for my own mods. I'm awaiting your new file.

I haven't used it yet. I just wrote that it's probably the easiest way to unlock all the cards for offline use at the moment (even for IDs 1021, 1022, 1023), but if I want to test cards I can always substitute other IDs that are already unlocked on my original profile.Tejahn wrote:TFM, exactly how did you use Spirolone's tool to continue modding? I uploaded my current folder in the first post. It's compatible with Kaladesh, but it adds only 3 cards and they will stay locked unless you unlock them inside your profile. If spirolone's tool doesn't work you'll have to wait for him to understand what changed and update it accordingly.Tejahn wrote:Also, I always use your test ZEDs as the base for my own mods. It seems to me they didn't change profiles structure but they add 1888 bytes at the end (mainly zeroes). I think you could use tools to edit profiles as in precedent version...

I just realized that the only source files I have for your profile and deck classes are still from DotP2015, and I can't find any updated ones: could you please share the source files from the latest version?spirolone wrote:It seems to me they didn't change profiles structure but they add 1888 bytes at the end (mainly zeroes). A part of those additional bytes may host the unlocking information for the full art lands and the card sleeves. Sleeves also seem to be selectable on a deck basis, so maybe there's a field for them in each deck.

Not sure where you guys are on unlocking all cards but I had some interesting results after using spirolone's unlocking patch on Kaladesh.
So it seems the patch works partially. Doesn't unlock everything but does unlock more cards then my online profile has. Since I applied the patch to a copy of my real online profile this did give me more cards to work with. The puzzling thing is the fact that as far as I can tell there is no pattern to what unlocked and what did not. With the patch applied to my profile it unlocked 764 cards. Before the profile was patched I only actually own a little over 400 cards legit. The cards that remain locked seemed to be random to me. The majority were cards from SoI, but there were locked cards from all the sets too. There were also unlocked cards from every set so, like I said a bit random looking. Maybe if I stared at it a bit more I could decipher a pattern.
Here is the REAL Shocker!
The card count on a lot of the Mythic Rare cards was off. I had 2,3 and sometimes even 4 copies of Mythic Rares in my collection. This is impossible in the normal version of the game! Just to make sure it actually was multiple copies of the card I made a test deck. Sure enough I was able to make a deck with multiple copies of all these Mythic Rares.
Not sure if Spirlone's patch has always been able to do that but I've never seen it mentioned in the forums. I have to say it's a pretty cool option to make a deck with more then one copy of a mythic rare and I hope that it becomes a regular feature of any modding you guys do in the future.

That's because the amount of each card in your possession is set on your profile and there's no check for it to be compatible with the rarity. If your profile says you have 4 of a mythic, then you have 4 of a mythic. Of course the game puts the correct numbers in your profile, but spirolone's tool can put any number (up to 4: if you use numbers from 5 to 8 you obtain the foiled version).magius74 wrote:I had 2,3 and sometimes even 4 copies of Mythic Rares in my collection.

I think I didn't change my profile class since one posted here:thefiremind wrote:I just realized that the only source files I have for your profile and deck classes are still from DotP2015, and I can't find any updated ones: could you please share the source files from the latest version?

However I'm posting also one I actually use, but I fear "main" could be unclear due to tests...
Actually, limit is 7 and 8-15 are for foiled ones!thefiremind wrote:...spirolone's tool can put any number (up to 4: if you use numbers from 5 to 8 you obtain the foiled version).

Interesting, I didn't remember that.spirolone wrote:Actually, limit is 7 and 8-15 are for foiled ones!
Have you done any tests with the deck structure after the Kaladesh update? I was curious to know if they reserved some bytes for the card sleeves. Unfortunately I'm too poor to buy a sleeve with my online profile and see what changes in the profile when I select it for a deck...

This main should unlock 4 instance of any card till 1023:thefiremind wrote:OK, thanks! I'll try to modify it so that I can unlock all the IDs till 1023.
- Code: Select all
public static void main(String[] args) {
try {
String fileName;
if (args.length > 0)
fileName = args[0];
else
fileName = "1.profile";
File profileFile = new File(fileName);
Profile myProfile = new Profile(profileFile);
byte[] cards = new byte[1024];
for (int i=0; i<1024; i++) {
cards[i] = 4;
}
myProfile.writeCards(cards);
myProfile.save();
}
catch (Exception e){
System.out.printf("Error");
}
}
No, but maybe I will use some coins of a secondary account to buy something and do some tests...thefiremind wrote:Have you done any tests with the deck structure after the Kaladesh update? Now is there anyway to exceed the limit of 1023 cards?? I just began modding on Magic duels yesterday and found that the card 1024 was not shown.

Not at the moment. But in the next expansion the developers will be forced to exceed it themselves so a solution will most likely come up.Rholin wrote:Now is there anyway to exceed the limit of 1023 cards??
