To add these cards, nothing is going to get killed. When I release the Zendikar full set, I'm clobbering random cards that don't go in any full expansion. But that release will be a separate branch of the project, meant only for limited play. Oh, and Zendikar has a card in it even worse than Headless Horseman! :)


Re: Sorin Markov. I could add another random 3rd ability, but that doesn't feel right. I could always just leave the 3rd ability off, since the AI is so terrible anyway :)

Re: Aladdin. Well, I just spent about 3 hours trying to make steal effects work. And I think I succeeded! Lots of testing will help tell for sure, but I'll be adding Mark of Mutiny and Roil Elemental to the set, as well as fixing the Nicol Bolas bug. Hurray! :D

Well time walk would be the closest approximation. Since if I steal your turn its better then a timewalk effect in most cases because I can make you do nothing or worse then nothing meaning that I basically get 2 turns in a row.

Occasionally having a 2nd turn right away would be better then stealing your opponents turn but those situations are rare.

Before inserting lands i made a glossary of codes:

Mana Source Colors:

1 - Colorless
2 - B
4 - U
6 - BU
8 - G
10 - BG (R ? , GU - Errors ?)
12 - GU
16 - R
18 - BR
20 - RU
22 - BRU
24 - GR
26 - BGR
32 - W
34 - BW
36 - uW
38 - BuW
40 - GW
44 - GUW
48 - RW
56 - GRW
62 - Any colour (+land untap ?)
63 - Any colour (you/opponent land-spell dependent) (+land untap)


Count as X Land - 1 - has this basic landtype , or sometimes without basic lantype (an error ?)
For Colour field - produces mana of this colour or for fetch lands
Hack colour (for fetch lands) - 2-BU,18-BR,34-GR,36-UW,40-GW, should be there another code for other combinations?

Here's a tip for several fields. If 1 = Black, 2 = Blue, 4 = Green, etc, then BlackBlue = 1 + 2 = 3. Saves having to remember every combination :) And the colors always go in order BUGRW (alphabetically).

And we don't have "Surrakar" creature type in the list.

Sorin's third could be "at end of turn, tap all target oponent's permanents, you gain an extra turn after this one"

Because that's basically what everyone who activates his ultimate's been doing.

in theory yes , but you still loose a lot of options due to this:

Simmilar to "Mind Slaver" you gain the possibility to play with the opponents cards , tap his lands , use the opponents sac. abilities etc. (in short: to make the opponent missplay big time).
That is a different thing than just a "Time Walk", it is a game breaking move.

Sleight color is what color word the card has in it. Ex: White Knight would be 'Black'. Hack mode is the same, but for Land words.

For Surrakar, you can use 'Rigger' instead.

Don't bother updating the hack and sleight fields if it's a hassle. I don't bother coding that stuff anyway in the cards. If a card has 2 land words, then H1 is the first one, H2 the second, etc. Again, don't worry about that stuff.

Keep up the good work, man. Maybe we'll have the whole set by the end of the week! :)

Re: Sorin Markov- I think I will code it with the time walk + tap opponent lands + opponent draws a card ability. Better than nothing, I think.
